I did watch a YouTube on using this product and went from there. I needed the whole can and it brought my reading to almost the correct number. My system runs cold now and I have the gauge to use if needed in the future. Just follow the easy directions and you can't go wrong.
This stuff worked for me. My AC was blowing air at a temperature a little below ambient temperature. I have a 2004 Toyota sienna and refilling it with ac pro fixed the problem and now we have bone chilling cold air. What a difference and it has been 2 weeks and so far no leaks.
The A/C Pro recharge kit is easy to use and restored our A/C to blowing frosty air!
Best price out there! No charge for deposit!
It made our air REALLY cold. The husband was concerned that it wasn't a name brand. He is an hvac installer. However, after he saw the item, and put it in, and read up on others reviews, he said for the price, size, and item, we'll probably be buying more in the future.
Works amazing well if used appropriately and in right setting. Not designed to seal major leaks or correct major issues with an A/C system, but without using all of the gauges and equipment normally required you can quickly check and see if the charge/pressure is low and in about 5 minutes I had completely recharged system with ice cold a/c. Very pleased with product
Very easy to use and worked wonderfully well recharging AC in my old 96 Chrysler I keep to drive back and forth to work. I YouTubed a video on how to use it and had no issues. I appreciate that you can keep the hose/connector and just buy a can only next time.
Unit snaps onto charge port nicely and is easy to operate. Instructions are lacking in that they do not discuss all situations, such as when the needle is cycling from the white end of the range immediately to the red range completely passing through green many times a minute. The issue is due to the compressor switching on and off due to low refrigerant, but does not make clear that it is OK to charge well into the red in this circumstance until the low end of the cycling range in the white elevates to green.
Website photo of product was inaccurate. The website showed a gauge with an adjustable ambient temperature dial for proper filling at different temperatures. A/C PRO's website installation video stated that this temperature/pressure adjustment was a critical part of the installation process. Product that was shipped to me did not have an adjustable gauge. When I contacted A/C PRO their "technical support" told me that the company had eliminated the temperature/pressure adjustment gauge to "serve their customers better." Walmart did not update their website. I returned the unused product for a refund.
If I could give this product one star I would. not only was it worth less than one star, it was a pain in the butt. If you have a 2020 Chevy Impala do not purchase this item because it is not compatible. We tried several different ways to get this to work, and it didn't. Needless to say it was not worth the $50 I spent because I couldn't use it. I had no problems with it on my Yukon Denali XL, but apparently for a Chevy it's not compatible, even though they're both from GM.
