I ordered this so I wouldn't always have to be buying paper filters for my new Aero Press. Works well, didn't work with really fine ground coffee. Not quite as easy clean up as the paper filters but a nice option to have.

I had been using a different mesh screen decided to purchase this. I was surprised to learn how fine one's coffee must be ground. The water flows right through, it's quite different. The coffee does not steep or pressurize when using the plunger.

Only good use for coffee maker recommended

I saw a young lady using this product on a video I watched and she was comparing a couple different products. She said this was her favorite, but I would have to disagree. It says it can be used for iced coffee which is why I purchased it. I wanted to love it, but it was just way too much work and took great muscle power to try and filter the fresh, ground coffee I had grind for it. I had to, literally, use all my weight to push down onto it and had to do that countless times just to get half a cup of coffee and after all that work, it was very watered down. So, unfortunately, I had to return it. I wish it had worked better for me. (My husband is a Walmart associate.)
