Good price. Well made. The large hopper is a big positive. I filled with 80 pounds for my first usage and it handled it with no problem. I was missing a couple of hardware pieces but they shipped me replacements at no cost. Took about a week. Allow time for such a delay when you purchase. The only weakness I saw was a small plastic bushing for the vertical agitation shaft. Brass would be better (?). The flow gate is BIG. Real big. I can't imagine ever using it wide open. I tried a setting of 2-3, out of 10, for my first usage and it dispensed the granular material just fine. Tips for assembly. Instructions are very good. I also watched videos online. Videos show it being assembled on the floor. I recommend doing assembly on a work table or even a truck tailgate. Rachet wrenches are recommended. They don't talk about oiling or greasing until it is assembled. I recommend greasing axles before assembly. The gearbox came pre-greased and assembled. I chose to add a little more grease.

arrived fine, but isn't what i needed for my project. If you are fertilizing a large area of grass, this is great.

Assembled it,used it spreading **** lbs grass seed yesterday. Rather it was made in USA, some are,but not for the price of this one. I'll take it over what I found when I decided to buy. Very nice item,well built and works well,no problems.

I have an older spreader but got tired of working on it. Decided on this AgriFab and was not disappointed. It is really heavy duty with really nice tires. I can put over twice as musc material in the hopper. It is much more stable. It cut my time by more than half. I really love it. I wish I had bought this one years ago.

Made exactly like the John Deere tow spreader (I know bc that is what I was replacing) but much better price. The only reason not 5 star was bc the instructions were not very clear and needed better wording and dimensions on the parts list. Had to guess on a few things and then redo so it took longer to put together than it should.

Searched a long time for a suitable spreader. Have about an acre to maintain. Need a wide stance spreader to avoid tip-overs on side hills, controls that are close to the hitch point and reasonable capacity. This spreader fills the bill. I like the enclosed gear set. One other reviewer indicated that the spreader does "lean" forward to a degree which prevents it from emptying completely ... I agree. Draw bar needs to be bent/reconfigured to facilitate a more level spreader. I did a minor modification to the control handle (see photos). I have an extended reach hitch plate on my tractor (part of a brief-case weight & bracket kit) which makes a long reach back to the control handle. My "fix" seems to work well.

A towable spreader is a great idea! Too bad it was so difficult to put together with MANY parts. Seems like manufacturer could have done a bit more work to help the customer. Does the job well but caused a big mad around our house to get it ready to make the job easier.

I haven't had time to open the box and assemble the unit yet. However, I am a bit concerned. The box arrived with one end of the axle protruding through the side of the box. I took a picture. When I open the box tomorrow I will see if there is any damage. If you don't hear from me, everything is okay.
