The assembly was easy for me. I stayed out of the way while my husband put it together. He said the directions were easy, he only had a couple of screws leftover. Our Calico that identifies as a Tortie loves it. The other long haired cat, is mildly pleased with it. It blends in well with the wall color, which is fashionable according to my inner critic.

Mine cat love it, is really easy to assembly, the size is perfect for big cats.

We loved it. Easy to assemble everything lined up so perfectly. Very soft plush. The cats went on it to play as soon as we finished putting it together. The price was amazing compared to other we have seen with way less features. I would absolutely recommend this cat tower for your fur baby. You wont be disappointed.

This is a great addition to our cat's play areas. It wasn't too difficult to assemble and is very sturdy. Our senior cat enjoys going in either of the condos because she thinks we don't know where she is! Getting in and out of the basket was a learning process but she got the hang of it in no time. Having multiple scratching posts at all levels is a major benefit. They allow her to stretch and scratch where ever she is. The dark grey color goes well with any décor. We are definitely pleased with this purchase.

There was a communication problem. I sent the first one back,because it had a different manufacturer's name on the box. They sent me a 2nd one same thing happened . This time I opened the box finding out it was the same one I wanted. Two different manufacturer's, but the same identical item. If Walmart would have told me it might be a different manufacturer's name on the box , but same item I would have kept the first one. Anyway I put it together and it looks great. Thank you. I was pleased with this item, it was on time delivery and it was easy to put together, my 3 cats just love there new home and it so soft.

I bought this for Christmas for my cat. It's only April and material has ripped already

I got this cat tree yesterday and the first thing I noticed is the brand name on it is Yaheetech not Smilemart. I checked and it is the exact same tree for both companies so I am not sure if this tree would have been any better coming with the Smilemart branding on it. My husband put it together in a large garage where it was vacuumed and left to air out due to an intense chemical smell. We brought it in her room today (15x17 sq ft with a large patio door and good air flow) and within minutes my eyes, nose, throat and tongue started to burn. She walked in the room sniffed once and walked back out. Two hours later I still can't swallow due to burning throat although I put the tree outside after 10 minutes in her room. She still won't step a foot inside the room. The cat tree itself is too light weight to hold my 7lb cat since it t was rocking while I vacuumed it. The fabric on this Smilemart tree is very thin, half the thickness of her current Zeny cat tree which is heavy and has taken a beating so she needed a new one for her room. The base is not heavy enough. I can feel sharp edges through the fabric on the platform and the large bed is hard unlike her current cat tree. I am afraid one zoomie attack on the tree will knock it right over. I don't believe the wall anchor will make it any safer. One other thing is this tree is probably hard to navigate for an adult cat who likes to jump to the higher levels. There just isn't enough room for a good zoomie run at it. Despite all this the main reason I am returning is the smell. If you have asthma or an asthmatic cat I would be very careful to read reviews on the smell and chemicals used when choosing a cat tree. Fortunately we don't have asthma but it really made me sick anyway. I am going to have to bring her Frisco heavy duty tower into her room and probably will just buy her another of those for the other room since I know that they do not have a chemical smell like this one did. I was trying to save a few dollars but ended up losing time and possibly money if I can't get this thing apart to pack back up in the small box to send back. I can't even donate this "Smilemart" tree since I do not want to give something that smells like this to someone else's pet.

Purchase this it came in within 3 days it's a different name brand than what is shown haven't opened it yet I read some other reviews that have had the same problem but good outweigh the bad and apparently I'm the one who got misleading product

I was sent this cat tree from a different brand, not smile mart. I was also sent a light gray one when I ordered dark gray. The carpet sheds a lot and scratches are very visible from day one. I was only offered a $7 adjustment.
