Allen's Italian Green Beans, Canned Vegetables, 38 oz Can

I am a fan of Italian cut green beans and this is my favorite brand. The larger can works great for family meals or if leftovers are wanted. It is unusual to find sticks or twigs in any can which is a bonus these days!

The french style green beans taste like fresh from the garden. The cans have a long shelf life and great for holidays with sliced tomatoes.

The absolute best canned beans. The only thing wrong at our local Walmart is they no longer carry the LARGE industrial size cans.

I did not mean to buy such a huge size. I will donate these huge cans to a food bank.

These work great for our Arkansas green beans or “crack” green beans as we call them because they are so yummy!

I had gotten a can of the Allen Italian green beans and they were great. I purchased two cans to use to make green beans and potatoes. After I had cooked the potatoes I opened the cans and was so disappointed. The beans were mushy and pale green. I had to use them but was embarrassed by the results.

These are good - when they're good. Other times they are full of stems or mushy. I've been purchasing this brand for over 10 years and the quality issue only started about 1.5 years ago. When I contacted the company, I received, not an apology, but an attitude and a lecture about how hard farmers have it. It was bizarre. They did ultimately begrudgingly send me a coupon for 2 more cans.

I ordered a 2 pack seriously I will not recommend to a mad dog all my friends wonder why I still order from.walmart.walmart have lower prices but sometimes you pay for what you don't get

Package arrived mangled and was left outside in the rain on porch railing. But most importantly, the 2 cans of green beans were both heavily dented!! Not taking a chance on eating them, as I do not want botulism from dented food cans. Very disappointed!
