these allen's canned lima beans are the best canned lima beans i've ever eaten. i usually cook frozen ones, but these canned ones are handy to keep on hand for a side dish to a quick meal.

Lower sodium option
They aren't totally without sodium but they are a huge improvement over all the other brands. I will order these from now on

Allen's Lima beans
I like the Allen's brand. I like to give smaller farms a chance. Lima beans remind me of the warmth of Grandma's house when I didn't have to cook or clean and napped after lunch. Perfect in "homemade" vegetable soup.

A bit too watery
This product is less salty than other brands of canned lima beans —- a good thing. However, there seems to be a higher than usual water-to-beans ratio —- not such a good thing.
