Almay Palette Pops Eyeshadow, Naturalista

Almay Palette Pops Eye Shadow is a palette of nine different shades of eyeshadow colors. The colors range from a very light cream, almost white, to a very dark brown. This one was #010 Naturalista and contained all neutral tones. They can be blended and layered and combined to get just about any effect you are looking for. The package also states that you can “use wet for more POP!” The look is limitless. I tried the colors dry they worked well and looked nice. I also gave the wet application a try but was unhappy with the look. I can see that it would give a very dramatic look but I don't seem to have the right touch, or maybe enough patience, to get the look right. Mine looked more like finger paint. All in all it's a good product and I'd recommend it.

This Almay Palette Pops Eye Shadow, Naturalista is a great product. It doesn't 'dust' too much like some Eye-Shadows where the powder ends up all over your face when you apply it. The colours are nicely pigmented when applied dry and a little more dramatic when applied with a moist applicator. But what I like most about the Almay Palette Pops Eye Shadow, Naturalista is that the shadow doesn't pool up in your eye-crease halfway through the day. It stayed on pretty much the way I put it on in the morning - perfect. The only thing a bit annoying is Almay's new logo. The A's don't really look like A's no more. But as far as the Almay Palette Pops Eye Shadow, Naturalista goes, the product itself is definitely recommendable and I will buy it again and I will also get myself the other colour variation since this Eye-Shadow stays on so well.

I LOVE the Almay Palette eye shadow ! It's nine shades of color that can be combined into so many more ! This palette should be a staple in every make up lover's bag. The metallic shades are my favorite ! So much pigment and beautiful color, that lasts all day.There are also matte shades as well for when you just want to have that no make up look. You can easily go for a day or night look with this palette. The applicator has two different kinds of tips one for spreading and blending the other is more for eye lining a straight line. The applicator can be washed with soap and water.

Almay Palette Pops Eye Shadow, Naturalista is the way to go when looking for an eye shadow palette that has various shades to choose from. Not only do they look good, they stay on pretty well too! I love the “natural” colored tones and this one does not disappoint. It's not a cheap quality color palette, either. I didn't find the brush to be very durable, but as with any eye shadow a different brush can always be used. The price is not bad for nine different shades, either! I took mine with me to work and I guess it got jumbled around with other makeup causing some of them to fall out unfortunately but I would definitely buy a replacement one! I usually buy another brand for about half the price with only three color shades. These are all versatile and can be used for every day use or romantic night out. I give a two thumbs up and five out of five stars!

I first want to say that I received this product for honest rating and review. Now that that is out the way, I received the Almay #010 Naturalista eyes shadow pops palette in 0.16 oz/ 4.5g. The palette comes in a black casing with a clear plastic cover so you can see the different shades. There are 9 natural shades from cream to black and everything in between that you can mix and match. The palette says this product is hypoallergenic, ophthalmologist tested, and it's suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. The instructions say you can also wet the shadow for a more intense pop of color. I loved the look of the shadow at first glance and the selection of colors it offers. These colors complement each other and show very well on my light completion. My daughter whom is medium brown complexion also loves how these colors work well with her skin tone. I didn't need to wet the shadow but when I did I defiantly got a beautiful pop of color that would work perfect for nights out. I was impressed and would defiantly recommend this eye shadow palette. I rate it 5 out of 5

The Almay pops eye shadow looks really nice on. I've tried all the colors and they seem to stay put once on and the colors stand out. Upon receiving the eye shadows there was a good amount of shadow dust from one of the lighter colors covering the other colors. I cleared them off the best I could so you could see the colors clearly. I Think this was probably just from being handled a little rough while being mailed. Otherwise I'm very happy with this item. I would recommend to others and plan to wear them daily.

This Eye Shadow is a VERY soft and silky shadow. The colors I like that they are hypoallergenic and have been ophthalmologist tested and are safe for sensitive eyes. They are all beautiful and definitely natural looking. You can use this Shadow Wet or Dry. Naturalista provides nine shades. I have used this palette as eye shadow, brow enhancing, highlighter and, with a thin, wet brush, as an eyeliner. This shadow does not pool in your Eye crease part way through the day.

This eye shadow unit has a nice shade to the color of them. With them being more to the brown hues, they do have a nice selection to make a gradual change to a lighter or darker shade. The color goes on very nice. It is a very smooth application. The colors cover really well. You don't have to use a large amount to get full coverage. And the amount that you use is not so much that you end up with a large amount of it caked in the creases of your eye lid. The applicator brush has a rounded side for putting on the big part of your eye lids. And it has a pointed side for putting on in lines or close to the edge of your eye lid. And the pointed end could be used for putting smaller lines of color when doing the different shades look on your eyes. The applicator brush seems to hold a good amount of the eye shadow at a time. It didn't feel like I was having to keep getting more in order to get as much as I wanted on my eye lid. The eye shadow comes in a plastic case that is sturdy. The lid was a little hard to open but that is alright. Don't want it to pop open in your bag and make a mess.

The dry application gives more of an earthy, natural coverage and the wet application provides a more intense color. This product leaves a long-lasting look, so a quick application in the morning and you are set for the day. I love the color palatte, but was not impressed with the applicators included. One double-ended applicator was included for the nine shades of color. This did not allow for clean application for each shade. I like to apply my eyeshadow with a brush, rather than a sponge tip. I have also applied this shadow with my fingertip. I liked the silky texture of the eye shadow and would recommend this product. However, I would recommend you purchase a higher quality applicator to accompany it.

Makeup was all over inside the package. Product was completely unusable. Attempted to return to Walmart but they wanted to product back so for $6 just took the loss. Too much work to go to UPS store as I had product delivered.
