I have a new apartment with a bedroom that had high humidity and no windows. After a problem with moldy clothes, this dehumidifier has been a godsend. Took some time to get started right out of the box but it works great. No problems with/ excess heat or noise either which is a huge plus.
The tank is not huge, so it's perfect for our laundry room. Noise level is moderate. It shuts off automatically when full and is easy to empty. I like that it has a light on it too. I can tell it's helping reduce humidity, because the room used to small musty but doesn't anymore.
It's doing pretty good! First I didn't think that my bathroom was damp. I'd always had on the exhaust fan. It was dry so I deceived to put it in there. Well, it started collecting water in my dry bathroom in no time. This mini dehumidifier is fantastic! Thank you Walmart.. ;D
I received this yesterday-pluged in last night let it run for 24 hours I measured 3/4 cup of water --- the humidity went from 64% down to 53%. It is in my 12X13 bedroom with the door closed. temp went from 79 to 76. So I think it is doing a pretty good job for the price. I got this mostly to get rid of the musty smell coming up thru the air vents when the A/C is blowing. Been having lots of rain in southern ok. so lots of moisture gets into older trailer homes. I guess Iḿ very happy with this cute little dehumidifier... I really like the light - so I can see when the drops hit %26 make a little wave in the water.
I used for an efficiency apartment that measures at 320 cubic feet and after about two and a half days , this dehumidifier extracted about one and a half inches of moisture from the air. No sound operation. The lights change automatically and you can simply select the color you want by pressing the light button. Easy maintenance by just wiping the exterior of the unit occasionally. Have used 24/7 with no problems whatsoever. While using this dehumidifier, with dew points in the seventies for the past week, humidity levels have been maintained between 46 and 52 %. I just received my second unit today. Good buy at a good price.
I've been using everyday for a month now, I have a pretty big, open bathroom and I take boiling hot showers, and it keeps up with pulling the moisture out of the air. My walls would sweat and mirrors would stay fogged for hours after showers now it takes about 20 minutes and you'd never know I boiled myself alive for an hour lol I love this products, no complaints at all.
Using this for 3 weeks now, to suck moisture from my small apartment bathroom trying to prevent more mildew and mold. My bathroom has weak old fan, and no windows. So far does q decent job sucking in moisture and humidity from our showers.. ... Walmart never lets me upload my photos ?!?! Idk why???
I placed this side by side with another small dehumidifier I purchased a week later. This one has never collected enough humidity to need emptying, while the other regularly needs to be emptied. I finally just unplugged this one because it was clearly just wasting electricity. I purchased a second of the other unit. I wish I had returned this one but never did. Waste of money.
It only removed a half a cup of water in 2 days and it didn't lower the humidity at all (I have a professional humidity meter). When I setup the return Walmart said that it could be returned at any Walmart by 7/17/25, when I tried to return it I was told that the return window had closed which it hadn't (I have emails %26 on my Walmart app it also showed the same info). So now I am stuck with 2 of these. Walmart needs to vet their third party sellers and the return info that is sent customers.
It did not work well at all in various rooms! It did not collect moisture as it was supposed to do in bedroom or bathroom or laundry room and all were moist rooms thats why I was told to purchase one !! It was not collecting more than 1:2 inch of water !!!!
