I have used Poise for the last 12 years and been relatively happy with them, however, as I got older the plastic backing began to chafe . Always has a softer plastic backing and works much better for me. Thank you for this more comfortable alternative.
Better than my usual liners! The always liners I have been using for years were out of stock so I decided to try these as they were part of Walmart cash back. First they are all wrapped individually which I love because the only liners that I’ve seen are extremely thin and not absorbent at all. This makes them perfect for traveling and on the go in your purse etc. I used to put my previous liners in a ziplock bag so they wouldn’t be in contact with other items in my toiletry bag. They feel thick but not bulky and they have a light pleasant scent. They work well for post pregnancy and just in general for those times when a sneeze ends in an oops.
what i appreciated most was that your site was the only place to inform me of the change in the LOOK of packaging. I've been searching for weeks in stores, etc for the 'old' look, and no one knew why they didnt have it on their shelves! Unreal! Thank you.
Hello, I don't know if anyone ever reads reviews on this type of product. But...here goes, I tried the Equate Options Liners and found them wide and stiff , the unopened package is 2 3/4" wide. Not comfortable. I then found these Always Discreet, the unopened package is 2 inches wide, soft and narrow enough without bunching up. I went back to the store for more, but they didn't have any. I bought the next smallest size Always Discreet pads that they had...about 3 1/4" wide. They are soft and do the job, just a bit bulky for me. I had to order these little ones online through Walmart. I suggest you read the package to get what you need. The package that fits my needs is %232 for absorbency, very light and REG, regular length, 48 count to last longer. Thank you
The scent was overpowering when I opened the box they came in. After the package has been opened for a few days it has calmed down. A man must've invented them for them to smell like that. It is not the most pleasant scent at all. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to use them because of not just how they smell but, I was worried they may cause irritation. Plus, I did not want to go walking around smelling like that! Those last two reasons are another reason I said a man must've invented them. They just don't understand. If a woman did that, she should be ashamed of herself! As far as wearing them, they are comfortable. I don't even notice they are there. Don't really know about absorbency as you could see I bought the lightest. They are there for slip ups such as sneezing, coughing, or laughing. I haven't needed them yet. Thank goodness.
Let me just say the comfort is top notch. No irritation whatsoever. There is zero odor. Absolutely none at all. They actually smell really nice. Even after you pee in them, they smell good ! And they’re fairly absorbent. They would be more so if they fit properly. They are shorter than poise …much shorter. Actually the fabric on the outside is the same size but the cotton absorbent part is about an inch shorter so if you put them up towards the top your pee and out the back if you put them back to the back, you’re peeing out the top … that’s the problem. They need to make them longer not shorter than poise regulars. If they made them longer, so they absolutely fit the whole length of a crotch and a pair of underwear. I’d buy them all the time till the day I die. However, I just reluctantly ordered Poise again.
These are advertised as long, great for bladder leaks etc. I am a very small person. I wear a size 2 in pants and extra small and underwear. These pads, did not even cover the area they are created to cover. I ordered the extra long. Finally, a path that covers just the crotch area. The way a liner is supposed to fit. Never thought I would have to order an extra long to find one that fits correctly.
There is a slight fragrance when you put the pad on, however, when you go to remove it, it has a noticeable petrochemical smell. I do not want any petrochemicals near mucous membranes! Have stopped using them.
I did not order this brand. I ordered equate brand in blader controll. These were sent instead. I tried th3m in the past and end3d up getting a blader and kidney infection. I will not use these.
I don't think these are the same ones that I have been buying in the past. They are shorter and thinner than the ones I bought in the past, but I'm going to try them out. I won't be buying them again in the future.
