Women come and go but good films are remembered.
I was never in the band or played in an orchestra. I dated an older woman in Florida who was a piano teacher and she wanted to go see this film. She got me hooked on classical music overall but this movie was nothing less than spectacular in every way.

All-time favorite.
This is probably my all-time favorite movie as I have seen it several times! It is just a very interesting portrayal of the genius Mozart and his nemesis. It is an enjoyable movie!

Not the theatrical release. Terrible added footage
This is the director's cut which means that there are additional scenes that not only add to the running time, but actually lessen the power of the story. There was a reason why these scenes were cut and it's obvious. The item title should have have listed it's the director's cut versus having to see the small photo. Lots of other director's cut movies include the original theatrical release. It's a shame Warner couldn't do this here. Until then I guess I'll need to hang on to my original DVD.
