Bought for a gift for the Angel Tree. Little Girl of 12 years wanted it. It looked like it would be just right for her age. Hope it helps a little girl have a great career in science.

I bought this as a gift for my 11 year old grand-daughter who's in the science club at her school and she loves it! Proud grandpa I am! Thanks Walmart for making my grand-daughter smile!

This microscope kit is great for kids. It comes with a case, which firmly holds all of the accessories, as well as the microscope itself. The stage has two screws underneath in the event one isn't able to focus the sample. I'd recommend inspecting all of the elements of the kit after the kiddos mess with it for a bit. Things to check are the two eyepieces (check for smudges or dirt), alignment of the stage to the optics, and cleanliness of the included slides. The optics aren't science grade, but work just fine for kids or casual observations! Overall, this is a great kit for a starting scientist. Good to find out if there is an interest, and additional prepared slides can be purchased separately. If they aren't interested, it is easy to give to someone else to try!

Really awesome product, my son and I have been exploring germs and this is perfect for little kids just starting to get interested in science and microbiology. My son is 8 and he is able to operate it on his own. Love that there is a battery operated light and a mirror so you can use without batteries if you figure out how to reflect light just right. Only thing I wish some of the items weren't plastic, but it is for kids so I understand why they are.

Received the product parts broken. Returning asap.

This microscope has very poor lenses and is not even usable. I will be returning it.

We ordered this as a Christmas gift for our granddaughter. Opened it on arrival today and found the plastic illuminator holder was broken. Having to return it 6 days before Christmas.
