I'm a massive fan of these measuring mixing bowls, and Anchor Hocking may do it best. It's heavy duty, easy to read the measurement scale, and the lid is perfect for prepping, or keeping those fresh strawberries for your shortcake. Can't go wrong with this one. Definitely recommend.

Unfortunately mine came in without a top so I had to return, but would have been so nice to be able to store in the fridge!

My Anchor Hocking kitchen items are my favorite. They are heavy, solid and will last forever if care is properly taken. These are not the flimsy plastic garbage of today's world. These are solid glass. This mixing bowl is exactly what I wanted.

Everything is great except it is too large for me. I live alone and make small batches of pan cake batter. . . jus enough for one meal. If I ever have company for breakfast, this one would be great.

This item arrived in a USPS shipping box too small for the item. Bulging on top and bottom. That immediately put up red flags! The box contained no bubble wrap or protective packaging for this highly expensive glass Anchor Hocking 8 cup (2 quart )batter bowl with lid. However, it did have 2 partial cellophane bags with partial ripped off skew numbers that didn't match the item, just stuffed in the box… The batter bowl itself is beautiful. Back to the lid, it has black permanent marker with “$7.99” written on it! Like, $7.99 actually written on top of the lid in black permanent marker as well as an actual price tag with $7.99 on the Anchor Hocking label… I paid $28.00 for this and another $6.48 shipping!!! Now, I have realized it came from a “third party vendor” that participates in reselling discounted, previously owned merchandise!!! To be precise,, “HR Distribution LLC” About HR Distribution LLC - © This seller may also engage in manufacturing, importing or reselling consumer products!”” Is what is written on the page. It's a group of people selling merchandise out of their home… Of which I didn't know until this! Yes, my fault for not knowing this activity took place here, ok. Walmarts fault for allowing this type of misleading behavior, absolutely!!! I intend to have this returned to my local Walmart for a full refund. Once I can find someone to help being I'm disabled and unable to drive… Hence ordering online… My opinion on this is it's very deceptive and should be more transparent by Walmart regarding this type of merchandise and seller activity! Lesson learned here! The old saying “you learn a new lesson everyday!” Even for a 60 year old woman! If you're not getting screwed over via the internet, your cars extended warranty expiring will getcha every time!
