Good taste (unlike some other alternative pastas).

Its gluten free and you cant tell its gluten free which is a plus!

This pasta is wonderful! It mimics the texture of regular pasta and tastes the same when you add sauce. I love how quick it takes to cook. I carefully read the cooking instructions on the side of the box. I put the amount of water called for in the directions. The water came to full boil. Cooked the Penne pasta recommended time. Checked at 5 min as noted. It was not al dente. cooked two more minutes. Perfect texture, the lines on the pasta showed clearly. All of the pasta cooked without any tears or breakage to the tube pasta. The taste was a slight taste of corn and a hint of quinoa. I could not detect any notes of brown rice. I liked the taste, and the pasta had a slight chew. I would not have known this pasta was gluten-free in a blind test. One of the best gluten-free pastas I have tasted.

Ancient harvest penne is an affordable gluten free alternative to traditional pasta brands. It looks, cooks, and tastes just like non gluten free products but seems to be exceptionally healthier and more nutritious.
