Barilla Protein+ Penne Pasta, Plant Based Pasta, 14.5oz

These taste no different than a regular noodle. Great way to sneak in some extra protein. I made a seafood salad with it and omg! Nobody knew and it was gone fast! lol

Very happy with this pasta. I haven't had actual pasta for a few months as I'm trying to be conscious of what I'm eating. I tried these and it's a perfect swap to regular pasta. I was very happy with it and will be stocking this as a staple in my pantry.

The Barilla Protein Plus Pasta is better than original Barilla pasta… They are all very good, however, I find the Barilla Protein Pasta to have a better texture and flavor, not grainy at all, more buttery and having great flavor, I am buying it from now on. The ingredients are healthy having lentil powder, chickpea and spelt powder, pea protein and a mix of vitamins and minerals. I make it paring with Simply Ragu Traditional Marinara sauce, yellow onion and green peppers.

As touted by the Feds (RFK Jr.), this well known brand of ready to cook pasta is made with protein. The protein is in the form of (pulverized) beans instead of semolina or regular flour. Cooks just like regular pasta. I have changed my shopping routine to include only protein pastas! Bon apetit!

This pasta has a wonderful flavor. You would never know you're not eating regular semolina pasta. Because of the protein content, it's extremely satisfying and your serving size is greatly reduced compared to normal pasta. I highly recommend if you're trying to get more pasta in your diet.

I've recently added this protein pasta to my teenage athlete's meal rotation. The flavor and texture are good enough for this pasta to stand alone, but I still mix it with a regular pasta (50-50) for him to have the best of both worlds (slow-releasing carbs and extra protein). I highly recommend this pasta for active kids and teens, senior citizens, or anyone looking for a few extra grams of protein in their daily meal plan--enjoy!

pretty good, honestly. a little more chewy than regular pasta. a bit expensive compared to the normal stuff, for not enough difference in macros to be worth it, in my opinion, but for protein food, it's a heck of a lot better than most of the other pasta alternatives. still tastes like regular pasta in a pasta bake. in my opinion, just use regular pasta and blend some lentils into the sauce, though. this stuff is pretty expensive. it tastes fine, though.

Love this alternative for protein I need Saily as opposed to powders and phenominal for pasta carb choice as I let sit a few mins an water to soak and boils fast not hard and is so crave worthy filling and satisfies even with some basil sauce and other cheesy dressings or over salad even...
