Anker eufy Security S380 HomeBase (HomeBase 3), Local Expandable Storage up to 16TB, No Monthly Fee

This is exactly what I needed for my Eufy camera system. If you are going to use a multi camera set up for indoor and outdoor then this home base is a must. Before I was using individual SD cards. The Home Base S380 eliminates using the cards and it interfaces seamlessly with all the cameras. Works very well as a complete system. I am very pleased with this upgrade. I highly recommend the Eufy camera system. One caveat I wish the app can show all the cameras on line on my phone screen and show the live stream of each camera. Now you have to scroll to see the camera footage and you have to click on the camera image to see the live stream. Another improvement is that the camera images do not automatically change from previous view to current view. They remain in the previously viewed image until you click on the image to see live view. Eufy needs to improve this immediately. Other cheaper cameras and software work seamlessly.

Eufy is the best camera system by far! Had the other popular R system and done with paying yearly fees and floodlights that cannot show my driveway more than connecting at all.

I bought this homebase to upgrade from the s280. It was like night and day! Even with my original cameras it now has facial recognition, and many other new options. This model also has expandable storage. So glad I bought it! I love eufy products and you can't beat their prices.

I was skeptical of just how fast storage would run out without expanding it and it actually holds a lot! Easy to connect to all your compatible EUFY devices and has held hundreds of video clips and is not even close to getting full.

The Eufy S380 HomeBase is a game-changer for my home security setup. I love that it saves all my camera footage locally, so there's no monthly subscription. The AI features are impressive, accurate motion detection, facial recognition, and smart alerts that actually make sense. Setup was quick, and everything just works seamlessly with my existing Eufy cameras. Highly recommended!

Didn't come with one tb hard drive. Otherwise works

I look forward to using the AI. Since Eufy updated their App in February 2025 the prior generation Eufy 2 is buggy and no longer reliable which I am sure was intentional. However the good of these cameras outweigh the bad so I am OK with buting the latest model so my cameras can run smoothly.

I marked this down due to the process of viewing clips. When on the ipad or iphone in landscape orientation you cannot swipe across the screen to move between clips (Arlo system will allow this). Having to close the clip, then find other clips to open is a longer process that you should quickly fix.

Homebase has quite a learning curve with the alarm security features. Challenge to get the alarm disabled.

I brought the current Home S380 to replace one that just stopped working no matter what I did it simply blinked red! Unfortunately support was less than helpful! Of course once these are outside of the warranty period good luck with getting help! So when it's worthy, it works fine, but it seems interesting that you couldn't go back to the older homebase and the only other option was to go up higher to the more professional homebase. They kind of stuck if a product stops working and it's kind of the essential portion of the entire surveillance and camera system. The warranty should be more than just one year for something that deals with such complex equipment.
