Excellent antenna. TV towers 50 to 66 miles away in the foothills of the Smokies. Getting over 39 channels. With previous antenna was getting about 20 channels in good weather and as low as 5 depending on the weather. Easy assembly and installation.
Fantastic antenna. I did my research this time and after three different antennas this time I made the right purchase . Clearstream 4V has great reviews and worked great for me . I ended up getting many more channels with this unit. I paired it up with a channel master cm-3412. Beautiful combo.
After having tried several antennas (indoor and outdoor) the Clearstream 4V provides the best reception experienced to date. Using the antenna strength meter (also purchased from Antennas Direct and highly recommended) our reception went from 1 bar to 4 bars...with no amplifier...after installing this antenna. After 2 months of cord-cutting we are very satisfied with the results...and even happier to no longer be paying an expensive monthly bill for cable service ;-). I admit. I had doubts because other indoor antennas I tried had very poor reception. I hooked this outdoor antenna to my TV before inside my house before installing in attic and the reception was OK and had pixilation on many channels. I went ahead and installed in my attic and re-hooked it up to my TV. To my delight, I picked up all local channels. The reception was crystal and in HD. As a note, all of towers are within 30 miles of my home. I can pick up all major channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, and PBS) and all of their sub-channels. I get a total of 15 channels. Set it up in the attic with the "Juice" booster. Average distance to towers is 50-60 miles. We get 16 channels with crystal clear reception. Only missing CBS (comes in and out) - could probably get it if we moved it to the roof, but actually I'm so satisfied that I probably won't move it. I'm a woman in her 60s with average do it yourself skills and tech skills, and I had no troubles with it☺️ [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This was the best $109 I've spent in a long time! We cancelled our DirecTV, got rid of the dish and used the existing cabling. This was put up on a single story house and in place in 20 minutes. We have it attached to TVs in 3 rooms and it works with all of them on at the same time. No repeater or amplifier needed at all. We live in a fairly rural area about 50 miles from Mobile, AL and we're about 3 miles from the FL state line. We are able to get 31 Over The Air Channels that come in as or more clearly than they did with the DirecTV or (previously) cable. We've saved a bundle of $$$ and are as happy as can be. This antenna even worked sitting in a window before it was mounted in the old DirecTV place. Thanks Wal-mart! This came on time, took 20 min. to mount and hook up, and we still have money in out pocket. I'm loving this!!!
This antenna works but the one before this one I ordered and returned it because it didn't work correctly I returned to the Walmart store and still have not received my refund for $49.00 and some change………….
I've bee trying multiple filters to solve a problem I have with my closest broadcast provider. Pixelating and sound drops with a TiVo tuner. Normal TV tuner is no problem and solid as a rock. Guessing TiVo tuner is missing something. This Attenuator works fine but did not fix my issue. Also wish it had one male and one female connector to ease placing inline without needing another cable.
I live in flat west texas and the tower for NBC is about 55 miles away. I was able to pick up NBC with clear reception however I had to mount the antenna on a 6ft pole on the very top of my house (attached to chimney). As long as you get the thing 30 to 40 ft above ground with no line of sight obstructions it will do well. For me NBC is VHF and everything else is UHF. So I needed a long range antenna that captured both VHF and UHF. Installation of the antenna onto the pole isn't hard, it's getting a pole tall enough to pick up those long range signals that is hard. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Very easy to assemble and install on the roof. We are 50+ miles north of the TV transmitters in Indianapolis. Simply pointed the antenna and received all channels with good signal strength. Used a 12 db amplifier for distribution to 4 TVs. Excellent clear pictures on HD channels. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
