APC SurgeArrest Essential - surge protector

I like the fact that it screws securely into the existing outlet and that the things you plug into it fit very tightly. Until you have a power surge you really don't know how it will do but it seems like a very good product. A little money to protect expensive equipment without taking up a lot of room.

Using it in a business to protect a TV, jukebox, media player etc... Live in Florida where it is the Lightning capitol of the USA, so need the higher joules to protect eveything!

This unit requires being screwed into the receptacle, through the screw hole in the cover plate. No big deal. And, it provides more security, when using multiple power cords. Similar devices I've used tend to pull out of the receptacle, when removing a cord. Not a good thing if you have something sensitive operating.

Very good products I highly recommend them. They do a very good job in protecting my equipment. Very helpful and considerate agents to help with any problems. Been using there products for over 10 years. Have tried other brands but none are as good as APC.

I use these and APC Backups on all my valuable electronic items and appliances. I live in the mountains and we have our share of power outages 1-8 seconds almost once every 48 hrs. We have had close lighting strikes and nothing plunged into these has ever developed an electrical issue. Note: they must have a good earth ground to work. I am a retired IT manager and have had good experiences in business with this product line for over 25 years.

This item has worked well for me, it is grounded and replaces an outlet with two plug receptors. The convenience of having the USB charges is also convenient. This surge protector is a good size to not get in the way. I recommend this surge protector to anyone needing a small amt of help

I like the warning light and I like the green power light that tells you what's going on with the outlets. I replace a Woods brand six socket plug and it wasn't near as good as quality as the APC.

Haven't been using it long, but so far so good. If it's anything like the one I bought 12 years ago, which is still going strong, it'll last, and perform, a good long time.

Hi Every time I order online from Walmart. I get the message, "Canceled: items from delivery order %23" in the title of my email and: "We're sorry, we can't deliver to the address you provided, so we had to cancel some items. Any temporary hold on your card should be removed within 10 business days. Please contact your bank with questions. View the cancellation overview in your order details." in the body of the email. I ordered 2 items and only received 1. I appreciate the compensation, but it gets frustrating having to always diligently look for the Costumer service number and then explain the situation.
