This apple peeler is excellent. It peels, slices and removes the core out of the apple. U could probably use potatoes also. My family and friends also love it, I gave a few to family, and they have fell in love with it. Very, Very easy to use and clean up, is a breeze.

This is my second time buying one of these peelers. My old one had been used for several years. These are so handy. I use it a lot. Not just for apples I use it for potatoes. Especially if I need to peel many. I never want to be without it. It is so very sharp! Be careful!

I love this little machine so much I also bought one for my daughter. Apples that are peeled and cored are the only way my grandkids will eat them; And it also slices them into neat little rings which is easier and safer for the 21 month old to eat. It's a nice alternative to unhealthy foods they could be snacking on. Turning the handle is very smooth, easy and fast to use. I made 2 apple pies which required 14 apples (total), It took me less than 5 minutes to have them peeled, cored and sliced. It suctions to the countertop and stays put until you release it. The blade is sharp and cuts with ease. It's easy to clean and small enough to store away. I feed the cores and peels to my farm animals so nothing goes to waste. IT'S PERFECT! Please note: it works best on small, medium to slightly larger apples. The apple holder space is 3-1/2in. which is a very sizable apple so if you keep them under 3-1/2in. you will have no problems using this machine.

I am a cook and I love to cook however I am an amputee so I do everything with one hand. I can peel my own fruits and vegetables but this makes it much more easier for me. I absolutely love it and we recommend it to the young and seniors and people with arthritis it's also very easy. This apple peeler is so fun! Kids love to do it. This promotes healthy eating for everyone in the family. We loved ours so much that we brought some for friends at Christmas. As it peals the apples ( of any size) it also cores it and slices them in a fun spiral. Only takes seconds. This old fashioned hand cranking appliance is still the best way to eat apples. We make a fruit dip of marshmallow cream and cream cheese.

The peeler came - directions on use were not very good. Figured it out with little difficulty. Works very well. Only problem I have is the blade screws into plastic and continuously loosens during use causing blade jams and uneven peels. Overall a cool device.

I did not realize the product I ordered was not all stainless steel. The base and frame of product are a durable plastic, and though it appears to be a product that would last awhile, I will be returning it, as I know there are stainless steel products out there. Also, I have a flat surface on my counter that is nonporous, but could not get the suction to work on it. I wanted to return it unused, so cannot rate how it actually worked.

it said it was for apples and potatoes. it does apples okay? sometimes it gets a little hard and cuts more away than needs to be, but it is still handy to use. it is not good for potatoes

First of all what I order said it was an Apple peeler slicer corer, well I got sent a potato slicer only. They are not interchangeable, so now I have to go make a return. Oh the suction would not stick to the cabinet either. You have to push a wooden stick thru the fruit too.
