Mainstays 8-Wedge Stainless Steel Apple Slicer and Corer, Black

I like how the handle isn't flush to the cutter so you don't have to worry about smashing your fingers when you press down. Only thing is it doesn't always cut the apple the whole way through so I have to pull it out, but wasn't looking for absolute perfection.

The handles are thick and I have no worries I will slip when using it. Easy to wash. Extra large apples require some elbow grease. With tiny apples it will waste fruit due to the size of the corer in the middle. For normal sized apples it is convenient. If you need to cut a lot of apples for baking, meal prep, etc it will save you time.

Works perfectly. Seems well built and sturdy enough to last awhile. It cuts through apples without much effort. The handles are great since they also prevent any cut fruit from falling out. So glad I purchased, I am using it every day and only wish I bought it sooner.

This works like a charm. I have a more expensive one that I struggled with because the handles were small. Pressing down hurt my hands. But this has large handles so coring %26 cutting the apples is easy. Even large Granny Smith apples were easy.

I like this one better than the other I bought but will return. This one is bigger %26 gives me more leverage %26 seems sharper. It goes right through the apple %26 the core doesn't get stuck.

I really like the handles making it easy to press down. The core cuts very well and comes out smooth and clean. I was impressed enough that I've made apple pie out of the apples I used.

Super easy to have an apple ready fory grandkids and they love being apple to hold a slice a dip into chocolate or peanut butter! Makes perfect little hand piece's.

There is no problem with the apple slicer other than it is just too small. I tried to use it with Honey Crisp apples but the apples are just so big that the slicer got stuck at the top of the apple, I had to use a knife to finish cutting. They need to make these bigger. Maybe apples have just gotten larger over the years.

As others have stated, the item does NOT slice completely through the apple and the core remains stuck, so you need to push it thru without cutting yourself. Them corer is large enough for even a large apple, so no problem there. If you plan to use it often, don't buy it, but for occasional use it's OK.
