I bought this Item after reading a review that it fit on round toilets. Guess what? It fit perfectly. Great product. Great fit. Easy to install. Highly recommend.
I love this seat. I've had a 4" seat for 7 years. It was time to get a new one because I'm unsteady. The 2" has made a world of difference for me. Plus it has a cover!!
I had a 4" raised seat, but then I had bi-lateral knee replacement! No longer need that much height. Still, the commode in my apartment was designed for vertically challenged people. I'm 5'9" tall, and still need a 'lift'. More importantly, I wanted a LID. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase! (The service was good, too!)
This seat fits my round toilet bowl perfectly. Sits snugly and doesn't wiggle around on bowl whatsoever. The functional lid is a huge plus making it not look out of place in any bathroom. Overall great buy for anyone needing 2 to 3 inches elevation more height over the toilet bowl. And the odd thing is when initially sitting on it it doesn't feel near as cold to the touch as other plastic and wood toilet seats do that I've used in the past.
this seat is what i've been looking for over 3 years. i bought 4-5 that were too high. 2" is perfect for my low toilet. and it has a lid. buy it! it's great! doesn't wiggle or move. stays put.
Fit standard round toilet just fine (have to remove original seat) and 2" brings height up to about ADA level. Price way less than others. Will be helpful after knee surgery for a short person.
It was exactly what I needed. Two people wanted to put it on - both had the same issue - if clamp is turned too tight the seat will "Pop off" Also make positive the seat is in the forward position before sitting on it. I love it and it's so nice looking.... installation is SIMPLE. The height was perfect
Mom had two knee's replaced over the last 20 years, and most recently had lower back surgery, so getting up and down off a very low toilet seat was becoming quite a challenge for her. To remedy this problem, I had originally purchased the plastic 3.5" round Donut shaped spacer product which allows you to keep your original toilet seat, but simply raise the whole thing up 3.5" from it's current level. While it seemed to be fine for me, Mom said that it was too high, and that her feet would not touch the floor when she got up to go in the middle of the night. So I went online and purchased this seat for her, and removed the other Donut device and her original toilet seat/lid unit, so there was nothing left there but the porcelain toilet bowl. This new device simply sits on top of the porcelain bowl replacing the current toilet seat/lid assembly completely. This device is designed for a round bowl, and while Mom's Original Toilet Manual describes it as a round bowl, it is just ever so slightly elongated, however this device fit just fine on it. Mounting the device was very ease as it simply sits on top of the porcelain bowl. Once you set this device on the toilet bowl, you simply slide it back as far as it will go (we're talking less than an inch or so) until the little tab on the outside front of the seat is flush up against the front of the porcelain toilet bowl, then tighten the small thumb screws on the left and right rear sides of the device to snug it up against the porcelain bowl. This three point mounting arrangement is very secure and keeps the seat from moving when you sit on it. CAUTION: Be careful not to tighten the side thumb screws too tight as the whole assembly is plastic, and could possibly break if over tightened. There really is no need to over tighten this device, just tighten them till they are snug. Once installed, I let Mom give it a test ride and she said that the seat is very comfortable to sit on (which actually surprised me a little because Mom is just a little larger than the average bear). She also said it's easy to use due to the way it is molded with cavities in all the right spots that enable one to reach the important area's very easily (which is really way more than I needed to know... LOL). Also, it puts her at the perfect height so she can enjoy her time on the throne without having her toes go to sleep! The device extends down into the bowl a little, so that pretty much eliminates the chance of a splash outside of the bowl / seat combo when it's installed properly. The seat is very easy to lift off to clean if needed. It is fairly light weight, but pretty sturdy. Unlike most toilet seat LIDS, this one is pretty thin plastic, so I would strongly suggest that you NOT sit on it as it looks like it could easily break. It is very functional, and easy to lift up and down however, but I don't believe that the LID was never designed as a "Seat". All in All, a good purchase for Mom that resolved the short toilet seat problem. And you know what they say, when Mom is happy, everyone is happy! Good Luck!!
This raised toilet seat with lead is awful keep shopping. It would not fit any toilet I own or the person I bought for owns. This includes smallest to largest toilets. it cannot be returned and I know the reason why. I was looking for a cushioned toilet 2 inches thick. this item is a piece of junk and should not be sold by Walmart.
It didn't go on the toilet the clip broke trying to make it fit. We didn't even get to use it and they still wouldn't give me my money back. So now I'm out 35.00 and no one cares
