Arm & Hammer Desiccant Type Disposable Moisture Absorber and Odor Eliminator, 10.5 oz Pouch

I live in a relatively humid area and occasionally buy products to absord moisture when I'm too busy to run the dehumidifier. I received this product from the Walmart Spark reviewer program, and thought to give it a try. What I like about it is that its a flatter box and the packaging says it lasts 6 months. It would be perfect for fall and winter season coming up. Open the bag and activate, helps to minimize moisture in my closet.

So I used other brands in the past but I must say this one really works! This storage moisture absorber and odor eliminator works by attracting and trapping excess moisture to maintain the humdity levels in that area where placed. It works as an odor absorber in areas where shoes are, it can deodorizer a room or even be a closet air freshener. It's small and compact which makes its easy to store anywhere. The size doesn't determine the power of this absorbed. It traps moisture and eliminates musky odors and smells.

I got this product for free for a spark review. There are 3 places in my house that stinks: master bathroom, kitchen, & shoe closet near the front door. I put this arm & hammer odor eliminator in the master bathroom that does not have a window but only house ventilation. For the past few days, I didn't smell anything weird coming from the only bathroom (full bath) that I use! Even though I have 2 full baths & 2 half-baths, I only use 1 bathoom. I would always smell something weird even though my husband cleaned the bathroom. I used a charcoal natural odor remover but it did nothing. I used another brand odor remover & it helped some but I can smell something bad from the bathroom later on. I'm even more sensitive to smell now that I'm pregnant. So far, this odor remover already help me breathe better in my master bedroom (attached to the master bathroom). Also the walls doesn't look wet after we use the shower everyday. I'm planning to buy 3 of these now to help remove the stink in the other rooms.

This moisture and odor absorber really really works! The area under my kitchen sink always had a stale smell. At one time I had a small leak under there and since then, I've had an odor problem. If I leave the door open it goes away, but always comes back. Not anymore. After placing this odor eliminator in there the odor is completely gone! Thank you Arm & Hammer!

I've had this for about a week and it does seem to be doing its job. I placed it in my living room closet which does accumulate some moisture when it's hot outside. The product was super simple to put together and place it where you wanted. I like it because it wasn't in a bucket and it was in a tray, which makes it easy to place anywhere.

Have been totally satisfied with this item... using in closet near bathroom and there is no moisture or musty smell in the closet! Highly recommend if you have moisture and musty odors!

Unfortunately I don't have a dehumidifier in my basement but I do store clothes. These packets do help and do what they are supposed to do. They state they will last 6 months so time will tell.

I was worried this would have a strong floral smell, but it doesn't. In fact it doesn't smell much at all. The moisture absorber is easy to store even in a tight closet without using up your clothes or making them smell funny. I think this could work great in a camping trailer or RV too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this moisture absorber for a few weeks in a small storage space. It seems to help reduce some of the musty smell, and the container has collected a noticeable amount of liquid, which suggests it's doing its job.

I snagged this item as I planned to put it in the basement storage room - the room with the most humidity and stale odor. It has been there several days and I don't detect any changes in the room. Could it take a lot longer to have an effect? Would it work in a freezer to absorb odor? If it doesn't seem to do any good in the storage room I may test it out elsewhere.
