Always great to have at home, for a quick snack or as a meal. Armour potted meat is great on a sandwich, crackers, or just on its own...Always puts a smile on my face & all my family
I Ordered The GV Brand Potted Meat , But They Were Sold Out So I Added On This Armour Brand. I Haven't Purchased This Brand In A While , But It Sooo Delicious. We Use Potted Meat Maily As Kind Of A Chip Dip For Our Grippos Potato Chips, But Sometimes For A Sandwiches Also. I Highly Recommend.
Armour Potted Meat is best known in my circles as Appalachian pâté. It is humble, confident, and deeply unbothered by food trends. Smooth, spreadable, and proudly shelf-stable, it delivers reliable savory comfort in every can. With ten grams of protein per serving and zero pretense, it's equally at home on crackers, toast, or eaten straight from the can while standing in the pantry contemplating life choices. It's not for those overly curious about ingredients, but for those who know it, this is pantry heritage that doesn't need defending.
I grew up eating this cheap sandwich spread meat, it is sort of like Spam only spreadable, and a bit spicier. You can make from three to five sandwiches with it, depending on how thick you spread it, and something of an acquired taste, but I keep a few cans of it and still eat it now and then when I'm too tired to cook or just crave a taste from my childhood.
I enjoy this canned meat for my work lunch. I need something quick and easy to prepare and this product serves that purpose. The quality of meat is good and it tastes amazing! I love it. I think you will too!
just as expected; 6 cans same size as normally purchased in-store just delivered to my front door. Only problem little package came in a big box that could have held 10 boxes or more and was filled the rest of the ways with rolled and crushed brown wrapping paper. Such a waste of space in shipping and in the use of materials (i.e. the trees that were cut for the paper). Thank-goodness I have some use for it. Paper makes great drawing medium for the grandkids and for my paint dabbling, it can be used to absorb grease when frying food, wrapping and covering cans or boxes for mailing, and as a walking mat for rainy days over my carpet. The box became a play-car for the neighborhood kids.
I grew up eating this product and had always somewhat enjoyed having a sandwich occasionally as a reminder of my childhood. Recently i opened a can and it was super watery. I then tried another and same thing. Quality and texture has gone way downhill. Can't promise I'd try again.
I've always ordered this product for years. I love it. But the last two times I've ordered it, I had to throw it away. It was so salty that you could not even eat it. I always order this product in multiples. All of them are salty. I guess I won't order them anymore. Too bad. I've been eating this since I was kid. I'm in my seventies now. I guess that's another thing that will be a thing of the past.
i ordered 1 4pk. that was supposed to cost $3 and change. what i got was 4 individuals that cost like $14. i would appreciate a credit to my account for the overcharge please.
I didnt receive the 10 cans of Armour potted meat in my pickup order. I tried to do a refund online, they dont even have a section that says items was missing, so I called and was not able to speak to a real person , was told by the automated service that my items wasnt eligible for a refund
