This is the small rice cooker and perfect for other things, such as making red onion water (tea) for coughing ailments… I purchased this second one for my bathroom to boil/steam sliced red onions to clear my throat from coughing which I follow up with drinking the tea… you never have to worry about the home catching fire… it is also PERFECT for a one dinner meal quantity of rice - I LOVE MINE

This is my second rice pot from this manufacturer. That doesn't sound like a recommendation but I used them a lot. They are very, very easy to use and come with a rice measuring cup and a nice little plastic paddle so that you don't scrape the inside of the pot. It is as simple as dumping in the rice, water and salt, pushing a button and walking away for 20 minutes. Mine have gone kaput after 6-7 years but they are very inexpensive.

I am a single person and used to have larger rice cookers. This size is the perfect size for me. Everything cooks up nicely and it cleans up beautifully. Very happy with this purchase. I made a quinoa pilaf recipe (1 cup quinoa and chopped onions, carrots and celery, spices and 2.25 cups water/broth combo) and it came out great. Small appliance and easy to store as it does not take up a lot of space.

I purchased the smaller rice cooker last year. My daughter and I discovered you can actually cook way more than just rice in it. We cook pasta, rice and soups in it mostly. After learning how to cook so many things in it, we decided to make the upgrade to the larger one. We made a great choice. My oldest daughter borrowed it and like us, she just has the small one. She called later and couldn't stop talking about how much more she loved the large one. We highly recommend, if you have the room on your counter or to store it between uses, to buy the larger one and forget the smaller one.

Cooks up to 20 cups of cooked rice. My brown rice comes out perfect and fluffy (not sticky) every time. Great for family dinners, guest, cookouts, holidays, etc. Yes etc, you can cook pasta dishes, soups and stews as well. Very easy to clean and use. I would definitely recommend this product.

This rice cooker was much smaller than I was looking for. It does not appear to be made of high quality material like my old one was. The insert is very light-weight and after only one use, there is a definite hot spot on the bottom, where rice actually scorched. If you really need a small rice cooker, this one does cook rice. However, you may want to invest in one made out of better material.

I never received this order. The picture shows it was left sitting on the floor floor below our apartment mailboxes which my apartment door was three doors away so someone just helped themselves to my box. How about getting trained by UPS? They bring it right to my door do better FedEx. I will never order from you again.

I bought this rice cooker in May of 2025 and it stopped working today September 14th 2025. I would say spend a little more money and get a different rice cooker
