I grabbed these on sale and I must say they're an incredible deal. They were just what I was looking for. Each unit comes with its own tray and top which is vented. These are so reasonably priced that you could almost pitch them when done for the season, but I will clean these up and I know I'll be able to use them for a few years.

I really like these trays. They are slightly thicker than others I have purchased in the past, and the clear domed lids hold up nicely plus have adjustable vents.

I am so excited to use this kit!. 😍 I recommend 💯 to start seeds. This lid is invaluable for seeds to get started. It recycles the water inside and it also keeps the dirt warmer so there is a better seed germination rate. And the bottom holding tray provides a waterproof tray so you don't have to worry about whatever table you have it placed upon for germination. Another bonus is it is a convenient size for carrying around. For example, after the seeds are seedlings and the lid is no longer of use, I carry the trays outside to harden them off. You can even use the trays after you transplant into the next size planter pot. I love this is also reusable.

these cells are bigger than your average cell and you can plant things that you might not want to have to up pot later on I use them for watermelon and Pumpkins this year

I wrote a lengthy explanation about why this product isn’t that effective or practical. However, Walmart decided to delete everything I wrote because I left the screen for a moment due to accidentally touching the wrong part of the screen. I’m not going to bother writing my explanation in so much detail this time. (Walmart really should bother to save drafts) It’s not practical for maintaining humidity cause you have to open it up to water the plants. Then the humidity escapes. The grow lighting isn’t practical because the grow lighting isn’t adjustable. Different plants have different lighting needs. The lid is too short. Many seedlings will require transplant before their roots are developed enough to survive transplant. It doesn’t block out heat/cold. Also, if you use it, make sure the weather will be correct for you to transplant your plants outside by the time they require transplant (will it be winter/mid-summer?) Otherwise you’re going to have to move all your seedlings into pots or watch them die. It doesn’t prevent bugs (unless you totally close the lid air vent- then look forward to mold.) It’s just a plastic container with dividers to prevent the roots from becoming tangled with each other. Best used with small plants- or plants that don’t grow much until their roots are fully established. You’ll probably have to rig your own lighting. Give up on the humidity being controllable.

The title of the product clearly states “5pcs 60 cells seeds starter tray with grow lights.” No grow lights were included in either package I ordered.
