After using the ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) for a few months in my Ryzen setup, I can confidently say it's one of the most reliable motherboards I've owned. I paired it with a Ryzen 7 3700X and everything just clicked right into place. The layout is clean, and installation was super straightforward—even for someone who doesn't build PCs every day. Performance-wise, it's rock solid. The PCIe 4.0 support gave my NVMe SSDs a noticeable boost in speed, and the dual M.2 slots were a welcome bonus. I loved not having to buy a separate Wi-Fi card, since the built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth worked flawlessly out of the box. One thing I really appreciated was the build quality—you can feel the durability. The VRM heatsinks do a great job at keeping temps in check, even during long gaming sessions. I've been running games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring without any issues. My only minor gripe is that there's no USB 3.1 Gen 2 header for front panel connectivity. It's not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning if you're picky about I/O. Overall, the TUF Gaming X570-Plus feels like a sweet spot between performance, stability, and price. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone building a Ryzen system who wants features without going all-in on a premium board.
Its my first motherboard i purchased. 5 years later it's still doing well. Can't compare with others or understand how it differs from the newer and older versions. But i would say a very good solid pick up
It's an overall good board and it's not too expensive. There is only one thing to complain about, and that is the customization for the shutdown effects on the board. I would like to be able to change the colors on the shutdown effects. Other than the issue I just stated this is an outstanding motherboard.
THis board has been nothing but solid. I never have had any issue with it what so ever from out of the box and beyond.
Works perfectly for my build, ryzen 5 5600x, msi rtx 3060, corsair vengeance lpx 2x16gb, samsung 980, and a corsair 750w fully modular power supply. Runs all the games I wanted to play just fine. Tarkov, ready or not, etc. If you're in the market for a mid range pc, that parts list including the motherboard is definitely what I'd recommend.
I'm using the AMD Ryzen 9 5900x with the TUF Gaming X570-plus and I'm blown away by it! I'm getting 500mb/s download speed on wi-fi! I can use up to 24 PCIe lanes (with the cpu) is what sold me on it. I have a ASRock RX 6600 XT Challenger and 2 Crucial T500 2TB NVME M.2's. Bios was already updated to the latest release so everything was basically plug n play. Also have 4-32GB G.Skill Trident DDR4 ram for a total of 128GB. Build went very smoothly! Great motherboard for the AM4 platform and the price!
So far this board has responded beautifully to the rest of my build which includes a Power Color Red Devil RX6950XT, 32GB Corsair RAM, an extra x1 board in the second x16 slot for IO, a Arctic 240 AIO, and a Corsair 1500i PS. I'm quite happy with it. The BIOS with the latest update works great, and the Windows software also works great.
Everything is running great, I've only had one small problem with the q led for the video card coming on when it shouldn't. I found through trial and error if I wake the monitor from sleep then turn on my computer the q led light stays off. Even with this small problem this MB is so much better than my last MB.
Great motherboard but I'm going to start with the negatives. 1. No c connection port for chassis. 2. No heat sink on the first M.2 slot but there is on the second slot 3. RGB on bottom right corner is covered up by graphics card whether mounted vertically or standard. Just feel like it would make more sense to light up the logo on the left top corner like the ROG boards. 4. The PCH fan and bios battery stickers are covered up by the same scenario. Everything else is positive fast download speeds fast internet bios was already updated to the current version which was a huge positive. Great potentials for overclocking.
The board itself is fantastic, quality build, good looking, and easy to put together. The BIOS, once updated, is ok, but needs work. What is the use of having Wi-Fi and Bluetooth if your wireless mouse and keyboard are not detected, and usable in BIOS? I have to keep an extra set of USB peripherals around if I want to make changes. The software support (armoury crate) is huge in size, and fairly useless, except if you have RGB to control... Which it doesn't do a very good job of either. Half the time armoury crate can't even update a driver without freezing. The EZ update just plain doesn't work either. Had to go to ASUS and download, and update the firmware manually. A great motherboard has to include the whole deal. So I docked it one star for poor software support.
