Asus Prime B550-PLUS Desktop Motherboard - AMD Chipset - Socket AM4 - ATX (244521)

Built it with amd r5 1400 and a gt1030. 16gb of t-force vulkan ram and runs way faster than my ASRock b450m previously built with. I am now an Asus believer.

I've built PC's for myself & family for 25 years, and ASUS motherboards are the best value for the money in my experience. The B550-Plus is a solid performing, reliable board for a great price. It was easy to setup, replacing my previous 9 year old Asus board.

This is the second motherboard I've ever worked with and I absolutely love it, it's the first motherboard I ever built a pc with (first mobo was from a prebuild) but I ran into no issues and would even say I found it user friendly for a noob!

The motherboard was EXACTLY as described and supported my 5th gen Ryzen cpu straight out of the box, no BIOS flash necessary. Resizable BAR, PCIE 4.0, USB C port header, Asus quality, etc. have all helped to improve my overall computing and gaming experiences. Highly recommend this mb! Excellent value for money imo!

Amazing. Works smoothly with even my 5800X3D with 0 issues. Amazingly packaged and doesn't run too hot. Really good for the price, like really good.

For my first PC build i think i got one of the most versatile motherboards out there. Combined wth a ryzen 5 5600x, and other performance peripherals i have a powerhouse. Im not a millionaire but i had to research all the pieces in my build. Im eventually going to upgrade when hardware prices drop but its definitely going to be made by ASUS.

So far this system is fast and working well. AMD and Asus a great match

Great motherboard, does everything well and seems solid, although this is a new builld, but my last Asus MB lasted a dozen years so..

Usb ports dropping like flies, it seems this has been happening for a long time. have been a ASUS customer for decades and never had a problem until this board (Prime B550 Plus) Spent a day figuring out to disable Global C State in BIOS, This is not a fix rather a work-around, ASUS should either fix this problem or pull all affected boards. This has been going on for years with no clear fix from what I have read. I will be building another system in a few months and may have to reconsider ASUS
