My wife was in an accident a few years back, and a bum shoulder was her parting gift. She usually uses resistance bands her physical therapist gave her, but they're very flimsy and aren't holding up to the use they get. This band is nice because it has handles, and is a heavier resistance than the standard bands therapists provide. She can sit at her desk and put the tube under her foot and use both hands to lift against her own force. This works just like lifting weights, but puts less strain on her injuries. Its also far less dangerous for her to drop than a barbell... Also, these tubes can be tied to door handles or shut in the door jamb to do wall execises. So far, I'm pleased with this item - it works well for her, and is much more durable than the therapists bands.

I have debated on buying these bands for a long time. I was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis and was told to do low impact exercises for my knees and hips. I was online doing research and a lady recommended trying these bands! I am so glad I got them! They really are good for my knees and also my shoulders! It sucks getting older but helps when you find things like these bands to help with your work outs! I will be buying a back up set as well! My husband tried them and he liked using them too!

I like the new addition to my workout. I've added the Athletic Works Resistance Tube to my daily regimen. I was a little reluctant thinking I would like it, but I actually do. I am looking for toning my arms and stomach. They need a little help. The resistant tube is roughly 60” long, not including the handles. The tube is made of a heavy rubber latex dual-wall construction with an inner cord. The handles have foam slotted padding for comfort. The handles are not affixed to the band itself and can rotate to make pulling easier. A nice addition to this purchase is that it came with some exercises as well as a QR code for free smart audio coaching. I haven't tried the coaching yet, I am still getting acclimated to using the instructions included. I also suggest they be used with caution and keep away from your face, just in case you lose your grip. Also, the resistance tube should only be used indoors, to keep the integrity of the tube intact. It can be wiped clean if it gets dirty. I am looking to get a lot of use out of this and can't wait to continue my workout.

This is a good resistance tube for light and general workouts. There are no harsh smells. The handles are well made and easy to grip. The resistance tube is pretty stout and offers enough resistance for a pretty good workout. The tube is light weight and easy to carry with you.

The product I felt was hard to stretch or use being it was really hard to exercise with it. Maybe someone larger size than me more strength actually could've used it without any problems. I don't know, but maybe the band is hard to stretch being that that's when they make it and eventually after a certain amount of time has passed it does loosen up anyways that's what I thought my opinion on this product.
