Bought for in-laws for Christmas because my mother in law loves nugget ice. I get pictures weekly with a glass full of ice in her favorite drink. She LOVES it!
Brought as a gift and my Neice loves it. Now her sister wants one too!
I love this nugget ice maker!!! It is easy to clean, easy to set up and easy to use! It is so perfect! Do not sleep on this. If you have been looking for an inexpensive nugget ice maker you found it! I paid like $165 for it before tax and it is worth every penny!!! It is so quiet! My Mom has one that’s bigger than this made by GE and it makes noise, this one does not. I have had it for a month now and it has been everything I ever wanted. I bought while recovering from surgery and it has helped me drink so much water I can not tell you how happy this ice maker has made me! 100% recommend!!!
This ice machine is great. My family of 5 uses it all day and it is perfect for our needs. It is quiet and makes a lot of ice (we all refill our 40 oz water bottles with ice about 2 times a day, and this ice machine easily handles our use!) The ice tastes great, has a great texture, and the machine is very easy to use and fill up with water. I had a problem with my previous ice machine and the company Auseo was very helpful and great to work with, they made it right and I am glad to continue supporting them.
Auseo Nugget ice maker...This is a one person housewhole. So not overly used. Used mainly for eating soft ice due to health issues. not sure how long this has been going on. Finding black specks of debris in ice and in bottom of machine. Ice also has a brownish tint. Hope this is not metal or worse I have ingested. Would like this checked out .
I purchased my icemaker in November during the black Friday sale. I just opened up the package yesterday (1/1/25) and during the initial set up, everything appears to be fine. I followed everything step-by-step. The ice carton was full within 40 minutes and I had my little ice nuggets. I let the remainder of ice melt inside the machine and turned it back on again this morning to repopulate the ice for my smoothie. So far, so good.. The ice started forming within the first few minutes. My only concern as I turned on the machine is that there's a loud buzzing noise coming from it. At 6 AM in the morning, that should not be the loudest machine in my home where I can hear it from two rooms over. I'm not sure if that's supposed to happen or not. I will be calling Customer Service to verify or I will be sending this machine back.
It's loud, doesn't keep the ice cold. It continues to melt, melted ice goes back into the tank and the machine remakes the ice. It shows full when it isn't. I get a couple of cups full at a time at most. Continuous cycle. Will be returned. Pictures show what it looks like when it says full. You can see ice at bottom of tank that's melting.
This was not the item I purchased online (Walmart.com.)
This ice maker is an absolute piece of crap. DO NOT BUY! It is supposed to be a nugget ice maker. But after a couple of months it started slushing. I used the self clean and bottled water to try to get it to nugget again. It did for a bit. But, you aren't supposed to have to use bottled water bc it has a filter in in. But, I use filtered water anyway. So, the fact that it still slushed at least a fourth of the time was very irritating because it make my drinks watered down. So, I took it back to Walmart. They said it was out of the 90 day warranty and to contact Walmart.com. Which I did. They were absolutely no help. I feel like Walmart.com should back the products they sell if they are going to allow third party sellers. An appliance should last more than 90 days. This was a Frigidare ice maker! But, it was a piece of crap. And no one wants to help me with it. I am very disappointed in Walmart.com. It really makes me want to just do all my online with Amazon. Amazon will help their customers resolve their damaged orders.
Had the machine less than 24 hours, set it up just like it stated, let it set upright for 2 hours before plugging in machine as it stated. It made 1 full basket of ice and then started making a squeaky noise, unplugged and started over but did the same thing. Not paying this kind of money and not work properly. It was making ice but wow the noise!!!
