The 4" Austra Red fern came in excellent condition without any broken stems. It was still slighty damp, so it was not dried out at all. I will definitely order plants from Walmart again!

This was one of the only plants I was happy with out of my 7 plant purchase. 2 ivy came infested with worms, the fusion white had nearly every leaf brown, torn or discolored and my green prayer was brown and heavily discolored not to mention this was the ONLY plant of my entire order that was actually in a 4" pot when they all were supposed to be. My austral gem seems to be healthy and I am praying none of the worms transfered to it. I am only disappointed that some of the stems were broken in half, but that is to be expected in shipping I suppose. I live in an apartment and it is doing very well in a low light setting! I recommend misting every other day if you keep it indoors.
