Yes, there are many brands of rice and people have lots of choices. I love Basmati rice and it can be prepared very easily and quickly in an InstaPot. (2 to 1 ratio of water to rice in 12 minutes.) Apparently Basmati rice has a lower glycemic index than regular white rice. I don't eat gluten, so rice is my go-to to add bulk to meals. The texture of this rice is perfect and it has a light consistency. Love it!

I like all kinds of rice. This rice is really long grain and thin. It is not so sticky when cooked. Smells and tastes great. Costs about the same as similar types of rice and comes with a shopping bag for later use. This is the kind of rice served at Indian restaurants.

Best rice around. If one follows the directions one will have perfectly fluffy rice. The bag is nice, too. We have used the bags for so many things. (My husband jokes that we will soon have a matching set of luggage.) Great product at a terrific price.

Royal Basmati Rice is clean basmati, free of insects and sediments that are common in most other rice products emanating from India. I would gladly pay a premium for a certified organic Royal Basmati Rice, should it become available in the future.
