Works to deter rabbits from eating my shrubs!

Anonymous September 13, 2025

I bought this hoping to deter the rabbits from eating my shrubs. I followed directions and sprayed the mulch around them and also the leaves of my shrubs. It hasn't damaged the shrubs and I haven't seen any more signs of the rabbits stripping the leaves.

This product when used as directed, 1 Cup with 1 Cup of unscented dish detergent mixed with 2 Cups of water in an Ortho hose end sprayer (shaken well to emulsify the solution), seems to do the job for 5000 sq. ft. (50' x 100' area). It did not damage the grass when put on with daily temperatures of 85 degrees and the use of an irrigation system.

RUNNIN' ON EMPTY...RUNNIN' BLIND

James February 15, 2026

This product truly works. When applied correctly, moles will scamper in an effort to avoid the treated area(s). It is important to use this the very first moment you see any signs of moles and a few more times after that. This should keep you mole-free for the season.

Works great - even if not used as instructed.

HavePulse February 21, 2026

I have to admit, I did not use as instructed because the mole hills were all over our fenced-in dog yard. I picked this product looking for safer way to eliminate the moles or voles without hurting my dogs. The dogs have only been able to catch one in the past when they happened to be there as the mole pushed up dirt. I mixed a cup of the castor oil with a cup of unscented soap with water in a gallon pitcher. I took a shovel and removed all the mounds of dirt. I poured a bit of the mixture on top of each and then put a bit of dirt back on top of that. It's been a couple weeks and so far so good! I noticed one previous hill had a slight bump - and they clearly decided, nope! It's even rained several times since using it, but the product application is still working. Very happy with this product.

i used it mixed with unscented laundry detergent and the moles left. I was reading that they eat grubs and that by spraying this onto my lawn it makes them taste bad. it very low costs and it really works.

This drives the moles out of the area. I ve used it before works well. Compared to other treatments. It isn't harmful to pets.

Too expensive

Way too expensive- price has jump since last year! I mixed with water- expect to keep critters away from garden and house!

Not As Anticipated

Deborah August 26, 2025

This product was so ineffective that I can't believe I wasted my money on this purchase. My armadillo thought this was a joke and continued to destroy my flower bed.

Didn't repel voles.

VKS July 31, 2025

We have had voles this year on our deck and yard. Sprayed this everywhere twice but the voles still come daily.
