Great as always

Coulee July 31, 2026

Just as good as usual. I use this at the barn, in the mountains, and share it with friends. Very affective!

A bug balm we can count on!

Madison O. September 5, 2022

When we discovered that we would need to wear bug spray every time we walked our dog after moving to a new area, I knew that I did not want all of the junk from supermarket bug sprays on our skin all the time. I picked up this bug balm after loving the sunscreen from Badger, and it has been great! The smell is pleasant, it is hydrating on the skin, great ingredients and sustainable packaging, and most importantly, it keeps the bugs away! This does feel a little bit more heavy duty than a day to day product, so I am looking forward to trying the Badger spray as well. I will definitely take this camping and hiking when we need some serious protection!

THE BEST

Dana the hiker July 13, 2022

This balm has saved me and all of my friends from getting bit this summer in LA. The mosquitoes are fierce this season and this is the only bug balm/spray I trust. I actually prefer the balm over the spray because it smells better and is easier to apply.

Getting Buggy (the opposite)

Cheyenne July 15, 2019

It keeps the bugs at bay. Need I say more? It smells great and is easy to apply. Defiantly suggest if you are going for a hike or whatever have you will, to put it on before you leave the house. I do find it runs a bit oily. Not terrible, and it might just be my skin but it takes a bit longer to soak in.

Nontoxic bug relief

Beverly June 16, 2020

So glad to have this back by in my life, No stores carry it here. My horses are happy to get relief from gnats and other biting pests that attack lighly furred area around sheath and teats. I'm happy that it's nontoxic. When I'm done applying to horses, I wipe my hands off on my arms. Works great

Will ABSOLUTELY purchase again!

Samantha July 15, 2020

I use this on exposed skin, it works great! I've watched mosquitoes buzz in towards me and then fly away before landing, multiple times! I enjoy the same (and honestly sometimes better) bug protection than my DEET friends. When I use this everyone around me want to use some because it smells GREAT... so I've run out quick. I've found if you take a glob and rub/warm it between your hands it glides on easy. This is definitely my go-to from now on. I LOVE that it comes in a tin rather than plastic!!! I'm wondering what the plastic like wrapper the tin comes sealed in is made of? If #4 LDPE then it's recyclable, or maybe its biodegradable?

I'm back for more

Mac February 6, 2018

I used up my last tin and bought another to be ready for the summer. I bought this originally because it's a great size to keep in my purse but especially because it's family friendly. I end up sharing it because the scent is appealing and people ask me about it.

Great alternative to deet

Sara July 13, 2022

I was skeptical, but tried it while backpacking where mosquitos were thick around an alpine lake over the weekend and it did a pretty good job. It smells nice, is gentle on the skin, and is pretty effective. It's not quite as good as the heavy duty deet sprays, but does a pretty decent job.

effective, affordable, healthy

Ludmila August 13, 2021

I use the badger products like anti-Bug balm and others. what I like about them that they are healthy, organic, not harmful for skin and the environment. In a meanwhile bugs are staying away, and it makes me happy because otherwise I was bitten badly. Would highly recommend using this company products to anyone interested in healthy protection.

I'm sorry to say I won't buy again.

Evelyn May 17, 2020

Thinking the convenience of a tin would be nice to keep in my pocket, i was anticipating a no-bite morning. Sad to say, the mosquitoes seemed to like the taste of the balm. So sorry. Such a great idea though. Other Badger products are excellent and I use them regularly.
