We have a big dog and wanted something secure that he couldn't accidentally open. The latch on top has to be squeezed and lifted to open. Not hard for us but our dog couldn't accidentally open it. Also, you have the choice to drill into the doorway or simply tighten the knobs. We are very happy with this gate.

As a pet gate this is perfect for my needs, The cats can not fit through the bars and it keeps the dog out with the option to leave it open. I did however modify the gate to only latch along the top as this gate has a latch on the bottom that requires you lift to open, A nice feature that adds safety but for our use I taped over it and simply pull and swing the gate open.

We have two for our Siberian Husky, this one and another we bought in the store from another brand specifically made for dogs. This one is far and away THE better of the two! Super sturdy, stays in place, gate closes and latches by itself after you go through it, and it's just solid as a rock, especially compared to the other flimsy one we bought in the store. And this one was $24 cheaper! WAY better deal! Sadly, they are out, as we wanted to buy another one. On to Amazon to pay more for the same thing we go.

Easy to install and more sturdy than I expected. Using it to keep dogs out of part of the house when they visit!

This is a great gate once you put up the cups on the wall it is very sturdy. The swing mechanism goes both ways and it latches easily for an adult.

This was easy to set up even with the extension, because my door is wider in my basement to go outside. it holds strong and the door that you open and swing either way closes by itself as long as you've got it installed properly. I would definitely recommend this.

Even after measuring the area I planned to use this in, it still did not fit properly. The gate would not even line up to stay shut. (And Yes, I adjusted it as far as it would allow) DO NOT RECCOMEND!

Only one worked the rest are either too huge or too small, nowhere near the size in the pictures. These are for big big dogs not little medium size dogs

So it's supposed to be give me all my money back with the insurance but when I eat turn into the Walmart, he say no you wanna call the Walmart not make sense. First of all. I have a 30 days when I order or buy anything from Walmart if Phoebe broke You be turning back.

easy walk through my behind. I have struggled with this gate since I got it. I am using it to contain a dog, not baby Einstein. It's not easy or fast to open. If Walmart customer service wasn't such a pain to return things ordered online, I would have returned it a while ago.
