Ball Regular Mouth Mason Jar Lids, 12 Count

I found these on sale which made my find even better. When I can foods ,I only use the ball jars,lids, and bans. Just like my Mother did. Ball products do not disappoint, they just help get the job done right. And it gives me a peace of mind knowing the food I canned will the ease, reliability, and ease of use,will.last.

I only use the Ball lids -the REAL thing. Cheaper lids fail to seal. I was surprised that the in-store price was quite a bit higher than the online price. It was cheaper to order online and pick up at the store. (Done while I was standing in the store)

Great product that I've used for years and trust to safely seal my canned products. Just a little pricey.

Some of the boxes were open, and lids were clearly taken out and then put back because they were facing different directions in the box. They did not appear used (e.g.: had been sealed to a jar), but it was unclear if they were, making their use for safe food preservation questionable.

The project is clickbait and misleading. I didn't go as far as to think that I was getting a complete jar because with as many images of them, one could also presume this, but excuse me for thinking that a “lid” was the complete upper portion, the portion that excludes the jar. That circular framed portion in my mind, is part of the lid. Well, apparently not to Ball. All you get is replacements for the actual circle that covers the jar and not the rim around it. I get that this portion actually covers the jar but to me this is incomplete and falsely advertised. I don't really see the value in this.

I have not had great luck with ball canning lids recently. I'm getting a 50% seal rate. Canning is too much work and effort for half of the jars to not seal properly. I plan to switch to another brand.

The Ball lids have a lot of failure rates under a vacuum. I'm not sure if it's the actual lids or the jars as I buy them both. I'll be using another brand next time.

beware of description it states these lids are 3.25 in diameter. They are not! its in specifications and description.

My lids have rust on them and need to be returned!
