Ball Regular Mouth 4oz Quilted Pint Mason Jars, 12 Count

Mason jars were as described. All jars sealed and work as expected. Good size jars for making items for gifting. As a family of 5, I do not use these for canning items for ourselves as they dont hold much. But like i said its a good size for canning items such as jelly, jams, candied jalapenos, pickled peppers to give as gifts.

These are the cutest jars! I originally bought the plain, but I love these "quilted" jars. I was doing keto and used them for the weighed/ measured portions of nuts for snacks, but they work great for leftover sauces or salad dressing.. and anything else that fits! They are very small - 4 oz is only a ½ cup, but it is the perfect size for my needs.

They were smaller than I expected but worked out perfectly. I really like using this instead of pyrex I was using to store small items or cut items that would be used later. Fit in the space I used for this and even saved space. Stays fresher longer and very adequate for my use. Great for cucumber or onion or peeled garlic that may be used another day. Great for left overs where you only have a bit left for maybe one person or adding to some rice or other food you could add this to for another meal. Will order more likely.

These bottles are a great size for lots of things. Very high quality, they look great, hold a seal. Everything you'd expect from Ball brand. My only issue was in the shipping. I would recommend buying them in the store instead of shipping them. Several of the jars were broken upon arrival and had no padding around them in the box.

Since my wife passed away, I've been stocking my pantry with single‑serving portions. It helps me save money and keeps me from overeating. I always like to wait until I've actually used a product before leaving a review, and these jars have earned it. These 4oz mason jars are well‑made and sturdy. I use them for storing pantry items, and they're the perfect size for the single portions I need. They seal well, stack easily, and make it simple to stay organized. Definitely recommend.

LOVE these tiny jars! Disabled vet eats very little and these hold just enough to give him some variety without having several meals of leftovers. Whether I can the jar originally or use it for the leftovers from a half pint I canned, I love these tiny jars! They are very thick and hard to damage. But the price is the same as for all larger sizes making them quite the investment. $1.08 a jar. Four equals a pint. Eight equals a quart! Big investment. I suspect this size will be phased out soon as have many of my other faves (like pint %26 a half. Or the round half pints. Yes. I've been buying, filling, gifting your jars for decades!)

So I am curious because I have been buying Ball mason jars for at least 5 years now.. the thing that makes me nervous is the past few orders I've made, the outside of the jar has been chipped off. While this doesn't seem to impact the inside of the jar, there is no broken glass in the box the jars arrive in. So I'm concerned this is an issue with a facility. I don't know of this chip/break will impact canning, but I'm nervous to use it.

I live ball Mason jars, especially the 4 oz size. This arrived with missing lids. You can tell from the wrap that someone was pushing where the lid should be. They either noticed it missing, or worse, removed it. Don't buy these from Walmart!

I ordered two boxes of canning jars. Unfortunately, I found that several of the jar lids had already sealed to the empty jars in the package, meaning that I could not safely use them to seal our canned food. I had to order an additional box of lids in order to make up for the ones in the boxes that had already sealed and were unusable. As I live in south Florida, I assume that transportation to our hot climate may have caused this.

I've purchased this item multiple times from Walmart without issue. However, on this occasion, I opened a jar to boil for sanitizing and there was A PIECE OF BROKEN GLASS INSIDE the jar. Another jar had two small dents on the lid. Neither of these things has ever happened to me and I'm sure it's a “one off” packing error - but PLEASE USE CAUTION opening these jars!!!
