Bambusi Adjustable Bamboo Bread Slicer with Stainless Steel Knife, Foldable Cutting Guide and Crumb Tray

I am always hesitant to buy products such as this online, but I had the option to return it if needed. It is a nice product. I was unexpectedly surprised. The packaging and product were well-protected and displayed. It has not always been the experience in our global purchasing landscape. And my homemade Brioche bread slices beautifully. I see it is out of stock right now, but it is a very nice slicer for those who are looking for a bread slicer. (And with a knife %26 cloth bag to store it!) Thank you, Bambusi!

The bamboo is of premium quality as is the knife that comes with (very durable, cleans easily, seems resistant to gouge/scratch marks from cutting against it). On homemade bread, I especially like the magnet built into the slicer as this very sharp knife stays in place, with the slicer.

over all i like it i think it could have just been 1 thickness the wide one but other people might like thinner slices i like the 1/2 inch size myself. all good quality like that can fold up and put away in its case

Decent quality, nice bag. Brand name is bambüsi. When I opened the shrink wrap, it smelled VERY strongly like fish. Why does my Bambüsi smell like fish?

The slicing guides are too short. You have to either squish the bread loaf or eyeball it to start cutting, but either way, the slices come out uneven. Also, because it's made of wood, you have to check very carefully for splinters. I was constantly pulling splinters off of my slicer. Ended up returning this one and ordered a different one not made from wood.

Only used twice. When you slice the bread you also shave the wood. Did not want wood in my handmade bread.

Stated it would be delivered the next day but took 3 days. Disappointed, this was the reason I ordered from Walmart.

pro: three thicknesses con: can't cut bread from top to bottom. You have to take the loaf out of the unit to cut the bottom portion can: not easy to use
