I like this injector. It's made much better than the photos show. I may buy a second as a gift for my FIL who loves using an injector as well. There is a small seal/o-ring for each needle that could be lost if you are not carful when cleaning! Besides that- no complaints!!!
One heck of a lot better than the Red/Clear plastic ones that are on the shelves at Walmart. The Bayou Classic Seasoning Injector has real threads on the needles and actually screws tight to the unit. The cheap plastic ones only have 4 little metal ears to screw into place and the ears bend after use, then the injector needle falls out! So it would be wise to spend more money on the Bayou Classic Seasoning Injector/Stainless with threaded needle!
I've used it twice and it is just what I wanted. Works well.
How many years have I purchased injectors? Most were plastic of varying sizes. When used to inject chickens, the occasional roast for Sunday dinners, they did the job. But for Thanksgiving when we need to inject multiple turkey breasts with both liquid marinate and solid marinades before frying, a heavy duty injector was needed. I was breaking up those plastic things every year. This injector looks like a good one. Sturdy. Metal. Comes with a liquid injector needle and one for solids. The proof will be when I prep for T-Day but so far, this looks like a good option and it's cheaper than having to buy several cheaper plastic ones that are bound to break - usually in the middle of me prepping my turkeys to fry. Not good.
Makes grilling a lot tastier !
Holds more, & has large ports that can take spices without clogging
Great replacement for those cheap plastic jokes. Straight needle is great for injecting minced items and spices that always clog the side release type. Heavy steel construction is far more reliable for all injection uses.
Love the stainless steel product easy to clean two needles for various uses better than the plastic injectors that break
Does a great job on juicy or course marinades. Adds a lot of flavor to your meat. Have used on wild turkey, deer roasts, and wild hog roasts. Easy to clean up. Is dishwasher safe too. If you are looking for a meat injector, this is the one
Works great ..just leaks a bit where needle screws to the body.it could use a washer
