It was easy to put together they give you everything you will need and follow the directions and you will be canning everything you want. I can a lot because I'm stacking up food for a lot of family and friends so I need everything to be done right and once you start, you will be canning a lot too. I catch sales on meat veggies, fruit and I put together soups, stews, apple pie filling, potatoes and onions bell pepper and mix it with meat I canned 2 jars and dinner is served. It's great for the future if you loose your job you have stored up food to hold you until you get another job. Then restock this is good because you don't know what's going to happen from day to day so be prepared for anything for a long period of time and water also. you can go without food for a long time but not water. Enjoy your new friend that is really a life saver and it works great. make sure to put the rack in the bottom then put in 14 cups of water then put a splash of white vinegar so your jars won't get a white film on them. Then turn on the stove. close the pressure cooker by putting it on top and turn until the handles come together with each other. Make sure to read the Booklet over and over until you get it all done right. For your safety. Canned enough for your neighbor's because you're going to tell everybody and they are going to want to taste it too.
No need to purchase a 600 dollar pressure canner. This has worked flawlessly many times I've used it. It's not an electric, its a stove top. Works better on a gas stove as it will heat up faster.
I’m in love with this canner. It’s lightweight and easy to manage when packing and unpacking jars. The gauge is easy to read and that alone is worth the price.
I am very pleased with my pressure cooker. This is my second one to purchase from Walmart and both have exceeded my expectations. It reduces my cooking time by 50% compared to manual pot cooking.
My husband wanted a big pressure cooker as he planted a huge garden this year. Thank goodness we ordered this one. He had only seen his Mom use one, but he hadn't really paid close attention when she used it. He says it is wonderful. The instruction booklet was very helpful and he had no problems at all. The booklet also came with a variety of instructions on canning different items.
This pressure cooker is amazing and easy to use. For the size, this pressure cooker is an extreme value. I highly recommend it for purchase. you will love this great value!
For a first time user (pressure cooker) I would not recommend contacting the seller (poor assistance) . The equipment is a good Pressure Canning/Cooker for learning how to use working with a Pressure cooker, is pretty easy to handle when you get the hang of it and you never finish learning.
Nice looking little unit...It came with a plastic handle that was broken in several pieces. The box it came in wasn't damaged.
After I received the package, it was broken inside
The tubber gasket torn after 2 uses and those are very difficult to find due to the size issues. The cooker gets black from inside after first use. Rest is good
