Battery Tender Junior 12V, 750mA Charger

Over the past 30 years this is my 3rd one. These are perfect for storing a vehicle, be it 5 days or 6 months. These units are solid state now vs the old step-down transformers of the past. Highly recommend this one over the Schumacher brand which I owned, and it failed long before it should have.

Using this to keep my car that's parked under the car port battery charged on cold winter nights. So far it's doing a great job, even through it's only pushing out 800mA of power (brings new meaning to trickle charge). It kept the battery at a high enough floating voltage to prevent my car from automatically flipping out and activate its alarm when the voltage drops on very cold winter nights, like sub 10 degrees F.

Simple to use, just attach to battery terminals and plug into the outlet. During the winter I take the rider mower battery out from the shed and recharge it once a week in my basement ( or you can continuously trickle-charge it all winter long ). Color coded status lights, and the smart device prevents overcharging.

I had 3 old car batteries die within 2 weeks. Cold winter weather didn't help. This charger allowed me to slow charge the batteries and drive to where I could get a new battery for each car. It helped me avoid 3 towing charges. It's a great product and I'll use it again if I won't be driving a vehicle for several weeks.

I've had this brand of battery tender for 20 years and I haven't found a better one yet especially with the warranty that they provide. I just bought two of these from Walmart and they give you a 7 year warranty.

Only drive this car occasionally and thought I may need a new battery. Bought the battery tender and within 24 hours, it was good as new. Cost effective, fast shipping and very easy to use.

If I had one thing I miss. it's bigger than the older box type Jr. I wish it was a little more compact so it would fit in a weatherproof outdoor outlet cover like the old style.

So far so good. Simple to use. Good price point. Easy to install semi-permanently. Hoping this solves long/cold periods when I can't start/ride my bike. Much better option than relying on the bike's alternator to recharge a dead or weak battery.

This item did not work. The fuse was fine and the connections were correct but the charger would never charge. My electrician husband used his meter to determine that there was no output from the unit.
