I couldn't wait to cut the bag open to sample the ginger. OMG did I sample, I probably ate a dozen or more pieces. It's obvious I'll have to keep my will power in tact to avoid pigging out on this DELISH ginger. My son in Maine loves ginger candy and buys it in the Walmart store. I just ordered a 2.5%23 bag for him and his wife to enjoy. The quality of your ginger candy is definitely superior to packaged ginger which is a tad hard and Chewy.

This is the best crystalized ginger. It is fresh and not stringy. Shared some with my daughter and son-in-law and they came back for more!

The ginger slices shipped quickly and were securely packaged in an air-tight container. They arrived fresh and delicious. I love them!

There is a lot of loose sugar in the bag which, being sold at the price of ginger, is very expensive sugar. Many of the pieces, as described in another review, are scraps. The color of most pieces is significantly darker than shown in the photos, suggesting they are either not fresh, or poorly peeled. As with the sugar, ginger peel at the price of ginger is very expensive scrap.

Smelled and tastes rotten. Very hot and rotten tasting. Had to spit out. Last smaller bag I bought was delicious. This 2lb bag tasted spoiled. Left horrible taste.

The color of the Crystalized Ginger is brownish. not golden. Ut looks spoiled.
