Deceptive instructions and what I call app traps to get you to pay for cloud services and on trying to install the camera app from Google play, other apps popped up trying to install....app traps!

it would not link to the internet and i had to keep resetting and starting over with no luck . I will return .

i didnt know i would have to do a subscription just to view a recording. Most cameras you can atleast review a ahort recording. and why is it taht a sd card is not offered? Also the prices of the subscriptions are ridiculous...

loved the cameras. it was fairly similar to set them up. got one for the back of the house and one for the front. after about 3 weeks they hit you with so many advertisements on the app you miss what's happening on the camera. then the cameras stopped turning, moving with app tool, didn't send notifications until the motion was over etc . overall was fooled into thinking it was a great deal and maybe they are better with the subscription, but I wanted to use them without it! not possible. not happy with this purchase in any way

This camera would have been ideal, but I couldn't look at the footage due to the insistance on me subscribing to their service when I wasn't supposed to have to. I have a stalker and was trying to stay safe and get footage to show the police, but found it impossible. I wasn't even able to return it and get my money back because I kept thinking I wasn't doing things right. It was a waste of my time and energy, and I'm still not safe.

I have not been able to install the camera was ask to use a credit card in order to activate camera submitted two different cards neither one was accepted would like a return label to send item back that I could not use please and thank you for your assistance look forward to my refund

I agree with other reviews. You have to use the Yi iot app and it's full of ads unless you you pay to turn them off. If the cloud storage subscription isn't purchased then you can only live stream your feed and cannot look at any of the recordings AND they flood the app with ads every few seconds. Terrible purchase and money thrown away after having paid the subscription.

dont like how you have to pay for the app to view any alarts you get. you can view the video live but if get alarts you can back it up to see. my older one had an app and was able to do that with no subscription but its not 5g compatible. also thought it had a better light. just not satisfied with it

You get what you pay for so spend a little more on any other cameras butthis one!

Yes they were easy to install but did not work. Put in different locations in house. I wasn’t able to view anything; pictures, video, etc. I even paid to see one if the notifications, but wasn’t able to retrieve/see anything…recordings, sound, videos, etc; nothing. I’ve tried everything, deleting, reinstalling, etc nothing worked. Just want my money back. Can not see pics, video due to fact they never worked. Also, nothing was ever mentioned about monthly service charges to use these security camera’s/monitor’s.
