For the price, this is a very good starter piece to get young minds interested in science. The magnification is very good and the instructions are super helpful.

Win Win great gift
This is a great microscope for children and adults. I purchased this for my 82 yr old Mom. She loves collecting coins and seeing if they are valuable. The grandkids love assisting her. The family also gets to use the slides for our investigations.

it was a gift for my 14 yr old son and he really like all the stuff that was included in it beside the box that it came in the locking mechaism didnt stick together very well

Great for a starter microscope!
I got this for my son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! He's been begging for a microscope and Santa got it for him this year. It's a perfect starter for a 7 year old. It comes with many slides and he is so excited to use it every day.
