i wish the writing were bigger, but when you enlarge it it's fine. what you see is what you get. the microscope, 4 sheets of glasses, carry band, carry case and phone clip all included. you place 1 sheet in the bottom after inserting a battery, attach the vlip to the top, place your phone camera lense onto it and you can see whatever small thing. would be great for children ages 10 and up.

This small, portable microscope is really nice. It's going to be a gift but I wanted to try it with a maple leaf. The picture in the viewer was finely detailed and brought forth the orangey red color of the leaf. It was simple to operate. I think my two grandchildren (7 %26 10) will love being able to see the fine details of whatever they want to look at…as long as it fits under the lens.

The kids love this mini microscope. We got them each their own. They go outside to look at leaves and rocks and truly enjoy nature. They ask questions and have a new appreciation of the science behind every specimen. This is handheld, perfect for littles. It is a toy so you can't see everything 100% but it serves its purpose.

Nice hand-held microscope for begginers interested in science. The images are great and enhance new discovery. It is very durable and provides great clarity.

This item was on sale. It could be user error on my part, but I found the instructions not very thorough or helpful, and I still haven't figured out how to use it to magnify objects we find outside. I did figure out how to view the provided slides, but it took me a while.

The microscope looks nice and has a convenient case. Nothing else is great. The problems started with the battery cover, which took five minutes to open and close. Adjusting the image is quite difficult, even for an adult. I was only able to see anything when it was stable on a table. Holding it in my hand, I couldn't see anything. The light glared at my eyes, even when I tried not to look at it. The phone adapter was useless; I couldn't see anything or take a photo. I'm very glad I checked the item before giving it to my child. A huge disappointment. Had to return it.

what is this? This is terrible and nothing like what it says. you can't see anything at all except for the plastic. A child can't hold these slides and zoom at the same time. Adults can't even do it, you have to hold a slide with a tiny spec of dirt in one hand steady, there's no securing it in place. Nothing else is visible except for some translucent bubbles in the plastic tray. absolutely useless. Seeking a refund.
