makes you think
definitely will make you smarter. it was difficult for me and my 6 year old. im 39 haha. but when hes 8 im sure he will love it

Didn't work
Didn't work after putting it together. Gears didn't match up even after we took it apart and reassembled.

Too difficult to make learning fun.
this is not a fun you to put together. that's parts are difficult to put together, it's a challenge to read the instructions as they're illustrated. my 9 year old wanted to burn the house down because he was so frustrated with the product, and I was helping him , I consider myself very adept and putting things together. the toy is designed to be built into different mode designs, perhaps choosing a different design would be easier however the one we initially picked we've given up on. proceed at your risk with this product.
