Ben's Original Flavored Ready Rice with Cheddar and Broccoli, 8.5 oz Pouch

I most-often use "Cheddar %26 Broccoli Ready Rice" in Soup to make it heartier %26 veggier ;) -- half to a full pouch to a 15 oz can of soup. I've used it with tortillas (with refried beans, (more) cheese, salsa, etc.), as well. It makes a great side for so many dishes, too. Heats quick %26 easy.

Taste delicious! Very easy to prepare (cook) you can eat by itself,if you want a light meal,or pair it with chicken or other meat.

I love this product! The entire bag is only 340 calories and the taste is amazing. Super fast to make and add on to any meal. I really enjoy it for meal prep!

Ease of preparation and flavor is good. Texture is fine too. Since precooked rice changes in its chemistry after cooling and being reheating; it largely becomes a high fiber item with low glycemic impacts. That's good for us to eat.

The rice is decent.... IN A pinch!!!! If you have the time.... 20 minutes well spent would be to have the slow cook rice.

Disappointed that they would even have this on the shelf for anyone to purchase. Makes item impossible to use since you are supposed to use the original packaging to heat up.

It was awful, none of family or 5 would eat it. It is not even close to the box type we used to buy and cook on the stove. Bring back the old box of Uncle Ben's Broccoli Rice.

Terrible. I usually buy the kind you cook on the stove. Same brand same flavor. I love it. I thought I would save some time tonight and try the microwave version. Nope. Not even close. I felt like it tasted like plastic. I could not eat it. Son agreed. Do not try it.

I usually like Uncle Ben's (yeah, I said Uncle Ben's) products, but this was absolutely gross! I followed the instructions of kneading the package to break up the rice and microwaved it for the recommended 90 seconds. When I opened the package, it was just a big blob of stuck-together orangeness. It didn't even remotely have a cheese flavor, and there was not a speck of broccoli to be found. I'm sure the possum will enjoy it when I toss it out for him. Unlike me, they'll eat just about anything.

Ew. This is not good. I don't taste cheddar or broccoli at all but I do taste some kind of household cleaner. I'm gonna stick to the boxed version.
