Very easy prep: nuke in microwave, empty the bag, and eat. The rice is already cooked. You're just heating it up to serve hot. No having to boil water, steep the rice, and wait until the rice hydrates to be edible. Taste is very good. Have a stock on hand for easy and quick side dish to a meal, or to have as a meal by itself. Have eaten this before, and stays in my grocery wish list.
This was a quick and easy prep, mixed with frozen mixed veggies, scrambled eggs, soy sauce n egg rolls for a quick n easy lunch for the grand kids and me. Very convenient to have on hand.
This does require more salt for my tastes, also be aware you're going to find it's got a different texture but ciuld still a dab if butter. Soy sauce perhaps?
This rice is a quick and easy dinner when you're tired. 90 seconds in the microwave and a little splash of duck sauce, and it's close to restaurant rice. You could add cut up cooked ham or chicken to it too to give it some extra protein.
This one is the one I'll likely not get again, simply because it was a bit bland. Sure, you can flavor them yourself, but I like the quick and easy prep where I don't have to modify them. But the texture is great, the process to cook is as simple as it gets. And the quality is consistent.
I would suggest it only if you feel like doctoring it up My problem with it is how bland it is. Sometimes I just want rice. The fried rice sounded good, but there's no flavor to it. I think I will add more vegetables or something to it. I like how easy it is to pop in the microwave for under two minutes when I want a bowl of rice. It's filling they give you a decent portion, but to find what they claim is in it like peas is hard pressed to locate. I will buy it again because the basic is Goodman
This was terrible. The little green peas were little brown shriveled specks. There were not any carrots. The rice did not have any flavor. I am a frequent buyer of the Red Beans %26 Rice which is excellent.
Absolutely tasteless. Worst fried rice I've ever had in my life and I'm 67 years old! It also says peas and carrots. There were three little peas and two little pieces of carrots that were smaller than the peas! Don't waste your money on this.
This product is tasteless and there was no likeness to any fried rice I've EVER tried. It was just plain nasty and should be reomeved from the store shelves, I am very disappointed. 🤦🏾♀️
You would do better off to just prepare this yourself. The texture was ok but it had a funky flavor almost moldy but not moldy and the vegetables in it tasted like they had been in some sort of brine. Just bad don't buy!
