This product is quick to prepare & delicious! Only 90 seconds in the microwave- what could be easier?! You can make a meal like this in minutes: Saute vegetables and protein, and mix together with rice. Yummy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tasting quinoa and brown rice side dish we used it to accompany pork chops. You simply tear a 2 inch slit at the top of the bag and microwave for 90 seconds. It comes out steaming hot and not all stuck together. The bag is perfect for 2 adult servings.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this item in exchange for my honest review. I love this super easy just microwave whole package rip off top pop it in microwave for 1 minute or so and it's done . I made mine as a side dish for fish and we loved it has nice taste. I am a fan of brown rice and quinoa never thought to mix them together this is delishious .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love brown rice, but hate the time it takes to cook! Instead of a 50min wait time, this is good, hot and ready in 90 seconds flat! It was piping hot after the microwave, so be careful. I couldn't believe how soft and fluffy the rice came out in less than 2 minutes. The added blend of red and black quinoa stepped up the earthy flavor and the overall nutrition. The garlic flavoring was just right as well. Definitely not overpowering, but tasted it in every bite. I get about 3 servings a bag at about 1/2 cup each serving. Completely beats waiting to boil your own brown rice!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are empty nesters, so just two of us to cook for. So I really like these Ready Rice packages with the perfect amount for each of us. There is zero sat fat and zero sugar. It is 100% US grown rice. The blend of brown rice, black quinoa and red quinoa is complimented with garlic, onion and parsley. The BPA free pouch just needs to be squeezed to separate the rice and microwaved for 90 seconds. Each of us gets 150 tasty calories in our burrito bowls or stir fries. It is so convenient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received Ben's original ready rice whole grain medley quinoa3 and brown flavored rice easy dinner this side dish was simply amazing. The price was quick and easy to make went very great with my chicken my kids loved it and ask for seconds I just want to say thanks Uncle Ben another great product I don't have to tell everybody about it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as I got this I had to try it for dinner. This was so easy to heat up . I love this melody of quinoa and rice! I fried some chicken in a pan and had this for a side dish and it was so good together. Any time I can save time making dinner I am all for it and this makes it so easy plus it tastes great! You can heat it in the microwave or in the skillet and either way it is so easy. They don't skimp on flavor either! I will make this again for sure!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually not a fan of rice but i got it for my husband because he likes it. I tried it and to my surprise it was good . You could taste the garlic flavor but it wasn't strong which was nice. It's aquick and easy side dish to make. I can't wait to try other flavors.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't like brown rice and I know many people feel the same way. But not all brown rice is created equal. If it's not cooked right, it is not that great. If it's overcooked, it has an unpleasant texture or can be too strong-tasting. Combining brown rice with other whole grains definitely makes it better. In this case, this brown rice-quinoa medley combination makes the whole mix taste really good. And you know what else is great about it? Not only it is convenient, as it takes only 90 seconds to heat up in the microwave (You can also heat up in a skillet, if you prefer), but the texture comes out perfect! I love making fried rice at home, and this is my new go-to rice. When I cook white rice, I sometimes overcook it, plus you have to let it cool down in the fridge before you fry it, but with this mix you can have fried rice in minutes. It keeps its perfect, slightly firm, texture. I use sauteed onions, a couple of fried eggs and mix everything with the rice mix. You can add scallions at the end and many other ingredients, to your liking. Better than takeout fried rice in my opinion and healthier, too. Now about the not so good parts... even though it's just less than 2%, I wish there was no canola oil (not something I'd cook with) or "natural" flavors. Other than that, I love the convenience and it is easy to store and it takes months before it expires.
