Ben's Original Ready Rice Garden Vegetable Flavored Rice, Easy Dinner Side, 8.8 Ounce Pouch

I use many of the uncle Ben's ready rice microwave packages to add to a lot of my easy cook meals such as boneless skinless chicken tenders that have been marinated in different salad dressings barbecue sauces, garlic, Parmesan sauces, etc. sometimes I cook them separate sometimes I cook them and add them in with the sauces and add a vegetable I like using different flavors to complement whatever salad dressing or sauce that I'm using they add to the bulk of the meal which allows more servings and extra leftovers and of course, plenty of flavor. And there's always plenty of flavors to choose from.

so easy to cook in microwave and oven love this. great for nights when you dont want to cook makes great casaroles or just as a side. i use for stir fry and even in burritos with chicken the uses for this are so many

I like to toss this in the microwave for 90 sec and it's always good. I use it as the base for a quick and easy General Tzo's Chicken. A bag of frozen broccoli, a bowl of chicken nuggets and a generous dab of General Tzo's source and it's good for three meals.

There are not a lot of vegetables, but the taste, says otherwise. These taste like a variety of vegetables, but it's mostly peas, and very little, but a play for me, as I am not fond of peas. Microwavable, it comes out perfectly moist, does not cake, ( isn't sticky rice), is not too salty, and pairs well as a side or as a main dish, with added vegetables or meat .

Love the taste of the beans and rice, chicken flavor and garden veg. Right amount of spice in the beans and rice. Add some meat to the contents and makes a wonderful meal

The best thing about this rice is how easy it is to prepare. Tear an edge, put it in the microwave for ninety seconds and it's ready.

I have gotten this vegetable rice before, and it is good. However, this time, there was something all over the outside of the packages. if it smelled, i would have thought it was feces. it is a greasy blackish brown substance. Needless to say, they are in the trash.

I would give this zero stars if I could. I use to buy Ben's Rice Products when in the box for years, no issues. I bought the pouch, thinking tastes the same, etc...it was AWFUL, taste bad, sticky, dry. Followed directions to a 'T'. I then called the %23 on the back. After spending countless time leaning into the phone to understand the strong accented person, answering ALL his questions, (as I had the pouch), he proceeds to ask for pics %26 that he was sending an email so I can send pics of the pouch, which is fine, I already gave him the info off the pouch he needed, but whatever. I was very cooperative %26 told him I would. Then after all that, he tells me to get a refund, I'd have to return it to Walmart!!! I told him at the beginning of the call, I was unhappy with rice %26 wanted a refund. I then proceeded to get the pics for him %26 he NEVER sent me an email! So, the company won't reimburse 2.33!!! Poor customer service!

There was this weird grey sticky stuff all over the package, I couldn’t even wash it off. It was on all the packages of rice.

I didn't know that I ordered a whole case of this ! Way too much. I live alone 😂😂 I hope they stay fresh. I do wish I could return the case. But I don't know 🤷🏼‍♀️ if they will come back to get it. I always have been ordering from Walmart since 20/20.
