This makes a super quick meal in just 60 seconds. The beans and rice taste good with shredded cheese on top. I often buy Santa Fe black beans to add to the rice, as well. They are also microwaveable. The two combined with shredded cheese make a great meal. I'm 70 and always looking for healthy choices that don't take much prep time. I'm not fond of cooking and these microwaveable meals are quick, filling and taste great.

These have some outstanding flavor and they go with most anything quick to fix 90 seconds and they warm up again nicely if you have any leftovers that is

great for a side if you want quick but go with the frozen for more accurate one. Still will need salt. So beware if watching sodium intake

Best way I use this Is , sautéd sweet peppers and green w/onion. Set a side. Brown andouille smoked sausage in skillet ( sliced) add 3 tablespoons of water., vegetables and red bean rice to skillet. Heat to finish

Very dry, not many beans
Look and smells like dog food. Hardly any beans. Very dry. They tried with the spice. I gave 3 stars for 1) ease of prep, 1) I did eat it although I added sour cream for texture and 1) for price point. Very close but the overall visual was unappealing.

I so hoped that this would be an easy meal for me and my husband, we both have medical issues, and looking for fast easy meals, this is such a disappointment, I won't be buying this again.

I could not finish this pouch. The taste was bad. I was very disappointed. The color was very dark so I thought the seasoning would be overpowering but it wasn't; it just didn't have a good overall taste. I would NOT buy again.

tastes like cigarettes 🤢 the Spanish rice is my favorite product so I expected this flavor to be great too since I looove beans. inedible.
