This can is like a meal. It's a wonderful combination. I do mix it with other rice but its not required. True flavor and quality.

I love the Margaret Holmes line, and I love red beans and rice. If it weren't for this one thing, I would give it way more than 5 stars. It was very salty. I get that it's canned and so it has sodium, but it tasted excessive to me.

mix a 12.5 oz can of cooked chicken along with the broth from the can in to the rice %26 beans, add some fresh onion or peppers which ever you like. in 10 minutes or less you have a full meal for two for less than 5.00 dollars

Talk about misleading! Look at the can! I see plenty of color, reds and greens for peppers etc...they are even depicted on the top of the label, but what do you get? bland tasting and blandly colored canned rice with some pinto beans. I am truly amazed at all the high reviews. No color, little flavor and too salty. Glad I only bought one can.

The product was good. It was just a bit salty for my liking, but it's a good value for the money.

Cans dented. Not going to continue to receive shipped items if dented

Too much liquid, not a single diced pepper, flavoring is bad as well, very little beans.
